Small size for first a time toy.
Great vibrations for the size and price.
Gripping the end of the toy covered in lube was a little tricky.
Oggins Lucid dream petites no. 36 review by Oggins extremely useful
soft, flexible, easy to use.
It could be a little more powerful.

Slim, quiet, waterproof
Not-a-one. I guess if you require something with more girth than this toy wouldn't be right for you.

Lucid dream petites no. 36 sex toy review

Traditional vibrator by Doc Johnson

Published: March 27, 2008
worth reading, but not useful review
The Lucid Dream Petite #36 is a great vibrator for a beginner. With its slender length and surprisingly powerful motor, the 36 is a nice introduction to sex toys.
Pros:
Quiet yet powerful; not intimidating
Cons:
Not phthalate-free; the jelly has a funny smell.
This toy was definitely designed
Back when I was completely new to sex toys, and somewhere between the long-distance status of my relationship, my significant other’s encouragement of my sexuality, and my closest girl friend’s advice, I decided that it was time to stop being so embarrassed and get a vibrator. So, off to Eden Fantasys I went on the recommendation of said closest girl friend, to look at all of the options! Some seemed too big or too small, and some seemed a little too exotic to my sex-toy-virgin eyes (you want me to put that spiked thing where?!).

Finally, I spotted Lucid Dreams #36. It seemed perfect: not too big, not too small, and flexible. I ordered it in blue, along with some Sympathical lube, and waited impatiently for it to arrive. When it finally did, I couldn’t wait to try it out. After a wash with warm soapy water to get rid of any germs, off I went! I stopped only long enough to put in some batteries (not included).

I was already wet, but covered the vibrator in lube anyway. I let it buzz happily on my clit on the lowest setting for a few minutes, before gradually increasing the intensity. Wow!

I brought myself to orgasm just rubbing it up and down on my clit, then again by sliding it inside my already soaked pussy and fucking myself with it while using my fingers on my clit. I found spots I’d never been able to reach with my fingers, and they were the best orgasms I’d had – ever! My boyfriend was thrilled to hear it – multiple times, in fact.

Eventually I noticed that the Lucid dream 36 is quiet – I’d rate it one bee for the lowest setting and two, perhaps three for the highest setting. This is quite useful when you live in a building with thin walls, like I do, and it’s good for phone sex, since the buzzing isn’t loud enough to be distracting. The highest setting is around three to four vrooms in terms of intensity – not bad for two AAA batteries!

Now, this vibrator isn’t perfect. The swirls, for instance, didn’t do much for me. I’ve found that its “jelly” composition is inferior: it smells of new plastic, and after a while it loses its lovely shine. It is not phthalate-free or hypo-allergenic. Additionally, everything sticks to it: pet fur, stray fibers from the sheets, the cat, and so on.

Flaws and all, the number 36 is a very nice toy, especially for a first-timer, as it has a Goldilocks appeal: in many ways it’s “just right”. Unfortunately, it was only just right for four and a half months before the motor broke down.
