Mia 2 From Lelo



The new Mia 2 from Lelo is actually stronger than the original Mia in both my opinion as well as my husbands. He actually really enjoyed the test because I used both of them on his back and then on his scrotal area as well as up and down his legs. It is stronger on the 2nd setting all the way up and the pulsation patterns seem to be stronger also. It was actually a lot of fun, “Is this one stronger or this one?” “Which side feels stronger?” Then it become don’t stop that feels good. It feels good all over your and your partner’s body. You could insert the longer end into your vagina but I have used this mainly for external stimulation, it feels good on our external genitals and clitoris.

Material/Texture

Mia is made from smooth plastic that is non porous, hypoallergenic, latex and phthalates free. The plastic rates an 8 on the Eden safety scale. It does have the metal band which is actually more metal colored than metal. The whole shaft is the plastic with the on and off button area being a softer plastic so that you can depress the on and off buttons. It has no taste or smell to it. There are no textures, it is completely smooth.



Size/Shape/Design

The Mia 2 has a total length of 4 1/2 inches and a diameter of 1 inch. The cap area is 1 1/2 inches of the toy. It fits nicely in the palm of your hand. You can use it to pinpoint by holding it like a pen or you can lay it sideways and roll it along someone’s back. The cap on the Mia 2 twists on and locks into place with a waterproofed O ring present.



Functions

The Mia has a + button and a - button for controls. Mia has a locking function that when you push both buttons simultaneously the vibe control will lock, it unlocks in the same fashion. To go through vibration setting you simply push the + button to go back to the previous setting you press the - button. You have to cycle through the levels to turn the Mia off and there is no memory with this one. To go to the patterns you simply press and hold the + button. The Mia 2 does move through the levels easier than the original. To turn it off you simply push the - button or push both buttons simulantiously.

The Mia 2 has closer to 4 vrooms for power especially once you move up the vibration levels. It is buzzy type of vibration that leans towards the rumbly. Your hands can get itchy and numb from prolonged use of it. It is very quiet without being able to be heard even when you are using it ion your back close to your ears.

The Mia 2 has her vibration levels, I count 9 different levels you can get through them by pushing the buttons and moving up or holding down the + button and it ramping up to the max level. Mia 2 then has 5 patterns of vibrations. The vibrations go from high to low, then you have a on and off pulsation pattern, faster pulsations, escalating pulsations, a roller coaster of pulsations from high to low and low to high. The final level is just a chaotic mix. To get to the patterns you press and hold the + button down.

The Mia is rechargeable with a USB port. It takes approximately 2 hours to fully charge it. Mia will then run for 2 to 3 hours depending on the settings that you use. Mia doesn’t hold her standby charge for a long period of time approximately 3 or 4 days. The Mia has an LED light that flashes white when it is charging. It lights up when you hit the + button. The light glows red when the battery is almost dead.

Care/Maintenance

The Mia 2 is easy to care for you can wipe it down with a washcloth with antibacterial soap and water, you can use your toy sprays or wipes on it. Even though it is waterproof I would still have issues with completely submerging it. I don’t think that I trust the waterproof ability of it. It can be stored anywhere in any type of manner. You can throw this one in your bag, you can keep it in a cup with your eye makeup. It is very discreet and looks like a mascara container. You can let it sit on your bedside stand and no one will be the wiser. Since it is plastic you can use any types of lubes with the Mia 2 and youcan even use it with your massage oils on your partner’s back.



Packaging

The packaging from Lelo is top notch, it has an outer box stating Mia 2, pleasure object. The inner box opens up and the toy is nestled into it’s own foam cut out. You receive the toy, a sample of Lelo’s lubricant, a product information booklet and a product card.



Comparison

In comparing the original Mia and the Mia 2 On first glance there really isn’t too many differences and then you start to look closer. There is no USB cable included with the Mia 2. The cap twists and locks onto the Mia 2 where as it just pushes onto the original. The original cap has grooves that the USB port slid into and the Mia 2 cap has no grooves present. The Mia 2 has the water proof O ring. Inside the charging area the original has black rubbery area and the 2 has a sliver plastic area. The buttons and the size are essentially the same. It seems that the original moves into the patterns easier than the 2. The Mia 2 is definitely stronger but not double the strength the strength of the original.



I really like both of them and I can give my husband an awesome massage with using both of them. I would say to skip the original and purchase the 2 for the extra power and the water proofing. I am very pleased with the 2.

I really like this one and it is so much better than the original. It has strong vibrations and it is easy to hold on to. I still continue to use several times a week.
