Mini fancy bunny - discreet massager discontinued by NMC Ltd - review by P'Gell

The Mini Fancy Bunny is a small, silicone, bullet-like vibrator. Its purpose is for stimulation of the genitalia, the nipples, the testes or penis, or anywhere interesting patterned vibration or solid non patterned vibrations in different speeds and intensities are desired.

The Mini Fancy Bunny can be used for surface vibration and stimulation, and also for shallow vaginal penetration.

It is about the size of a highlighting marker, and a cross between a pocket rocket and a bullet in usage.



The toy is nonthreatening enough for new toy users (and kind of cute, too, without actually having an animal face on it), with vibrations that are strong and deep enough for more experienced users of toys.

On the front of the box, the caption says this toy is 100% silicone. That is only true for the parts that touch the body; the main body of the toy. The battery cap and power button are ABS plastic (which is fine). This is, however, listed on the back of the box in microscopic letters.

The silicone is a deeper purple than the main page shows, but is a nice color.

The surface of the toy is mostly smooth, except for a small wave pattern on the side the toy which cannot be felt during use.

The tip of the toy contains the "bunny", or stimulation flanges. Aside from these and the small waves on the sides of the toy, the rest of the item is smooth.

The silicone does provide a great deal of drag so, if shallow penetration is desired, a good water based lubricant may be necessary.

I found the toy best used for clitoral stimulation instead of penetration, although the Mini Fancy Bunny may be used for shallow vaginal penetration if desired.

As it is small and lacks a protective flange, this toy should not be used for anal play. Other more appropriate toys are designed for this type of play.

Its length is about 4.75 inches, with about 3.25 of those inches insertable. Its circumference is about 3 inches, with a diameter of about .75 of an inch.

It is a small, hand held toy, with a very stiff body (there is no "give" at all with the body of the toy) and a soft, nearly silky, silicone coating. One cannot bend the main body of the toy. However, the tip has a small “bunny” like shape, consisting of three finger like projections. ("Bunny" means in shape only - it does not resemble an animal in any way.) These projections are less than an inch long each, and are thin. They are very flexible and can be used to encase the clitoris, or to tease other parts of the body. The projections are the only part of the toy that is movable or flexible.

There is an indented, wave-like design on the body of the toy, perhaps provided for a better grip, but it is not deep and cannot be felt during use (picture above).

The toy, from the flexible “finger” like head to the plastic power button on the bottom, can fit comfortably in even a small hand.


The product is a little larger than a standard bullet, and about the shape of a standard Pocket Rocket. In use, it falls between these in function.

The toy has a power button on the plastic end cap. When the toy is turned on, a light goes on around the power button and the light patterns after the vibrations.

One push of the button turns on the toy, and then you go through the vibration patterns one at a time. If at any time you want to turn the toy off, you press the power button for a few seconds and the toy turns off immediately. There is no need to go through all the patterns to get to the end to turn off the toy.

When the toy is turned back on, your setting is saved, but it picks up at the next vibration setting after the pattern you were last using. This can be frustrating if you have a favorite pattern, as then you have to go through all the settings to get back to your favorite if you need to turn the toy off in the middle of a play session.

The patterns follow:
1. Strong, steady vibration
2. Strong, medium steady vibe, lower in frequency than first
3. Lower deeper frequency vibration
4. “Jiggling” vibrations that escalate in power
5. Fast throbbing
6. Longer “dash” higher frequency jolts
7. Medium throbbing jolts
8. Lower frequency slower throbbing
9. Fast jolts
10. Low Frequency, quick throbbing jolts

Most of the pattern vibrations are fairly low frequency and somewhat low frequency. A few are buzzier, but there are enough that one can choose which patterns fit one’s personal preferences.

The toys worst feature is that it is pretty loud. Each pattern has its own almost musical “tone”, and none of those tones are quiet. I could just barely hear it through a closed wooden door, and that was with the ventilation fan on in the bathroom next door.

Many of the patterns are on the strong side (about a 3 out of 5), with a few that are more gentle. Most people will be able to find a number of patterns that suit their needs quite easily.

The fact that many of the patterns were of a fairly low, throbbing frequency (my favorite kind of vibration) seemed a nice plus for a toy in this price range, as many toys in this price range seem buzzy and/or weak.

The toy takes one AA battery.

Although the packaging says the toy is “100% silicone”, the end cap and power button are plastic, as the tiny writing on the box attests to. The toy has no taste or smell at all.

No water was found in the battery compartment after washings, so the toy is at least splash proof.

I was able to read some of the microscopic wording on the back of the box (with reading glasses and a high power magnifying glass), and this wording admits to the toy being part ABS plastic, as well as saying “this toy cannot provide water resistance while in bath or in the pool….waterproof only in the shower or while being cleaned with water.” (This is a direct quote from the box.)

This toy should be washed in hot water with a mild soap or detergent. Toy cleaners or wipes may be used, until one can get the toy to hot running water for more thorough cleaning.

Only water based lubes should be used with this silicone toy.

The toy should be stored away from other silicone toys and not allowed to touch them. I keep mine in an Eden toy bag away from light and heat.

The toy comes in a fitted, easy to open plastic tray, covered with a brown paper box. The box has writing all over it. I found the writing to be so small it was very difficult to read, even with glasses and a magnifying glass. However, the box does have a good description of the 10 functions of the toy on the side of the box.

(Despite the fact that none of the functions were what I would describe as "roller coaster", as the box does, the patterns are a lot of fun nonetheless.)

One could store the toy in the box, or it can be stored, isolated from other silicone toys, in a toy bag or box.

The Mini Fancy Bunny surprised me by being stronger than I expected. The vibrations were fairly low frequency (good in my estimation) and somewhat throbbing on several of the settings. The small hand held size makes it easy to use during PIV intercourse without being intrusive. It can easily fit between two bodies during sexual acts to help stimulate the clitoris or, of course, can be used in a variety of inventive ways during "foreplay" or during self stimulation.

It can also be used for warm up, or used during any time during sexual acts on the above mentioned body parts.

The only drawback I found was its sound. It is a bit loud and would be a toy used more frequently in our house if it were more quiet.
