Durex play utopia by Durex - review by Gingy

We bought this lube almost a year ago and I had completely forgotten about it until now. This is exactly how I feel about Durex Play Utopia, it is forgettable.

When we first purchased this product I was excited about adding some stimulation to my sometimes non-responsive clit. Durex claims that Utopia will "increase desire and intensify a woman's orgasm". My partner and I used it a number of times and came to the conclusion that the initial hot/cold, tingly sensation does feel nice but, does not last long enough (2 minutes) to intensify or increase desire with my orgasms.
We have tried the product both externally on my clit as well as internally as a general lube. Internally the product had a tendency to feel very cold, where as externally the sensation would flip back and forth from hot to cold. It was an interesting sensation while it lasted.

The texture of this water based lube is very nice and silky, on its own without the hot/cold it would be a very nice (if expensive) personal lube. There is no smell associated with the product and it will not stain, washes up easily with water and does not become sticky with longer periods of use.

If you are planning on going down on your partner after applying this product I would seriously reconsider! Durex Utopia is by far the worst taste lube I have ever experienced and the mouth sensation from the arousal component of the lube is unexplainable but very undesirable!

The packaging for this product is nice. the bottle has a pump lid which has not leaked even while laying on its side for months. The price per volume ratio is a little steep, the bottle is tiny but I suppose if used for its intended stimulation purposes you don't need a lot.
