My busy 'little' bee

With a variety of functions and a quiet nature, the Siena Rondo is long standing favorite of mine. The powerful vibrations and smooth design allow for simulation of the G-spot, clitoris, and internal walls. A pleasant ride, wish that it didn't drain batteries so quickly!

Use

The Sienna Rondo has been long time favorite in my bedroom. Although it has mainly seen the bedroom, its ergonomic design, quiet nature, and waterproofing allow for it to be used in almost any location. The Rondo is made to be used by anyone, in play by couples or solo.

A nice girthy vibrator from Mantric, the Rondo is designed to stimulate the G-Spot and fulfill the needs of even the most discerning user. While it could be considered a bit short for some, only 5 1/4" of insertable length, the Rondo is able to provide powerful stimulation for the G-spot, clitoris, and vaginal walls.

Safety-wise, the Rondo is made for vaginal use only! The lack of a flared based make anal play dangerous and the Rondo's smooth silicone material can easily slip in one's grip, making it unsuitable for internal anal use. Personally, the rigidness is also a detractor from the very idea of its use as an anal toy.

Material / Texture

The first thing one notices about the Rondo is its firmness! Made with a solid internal core, the Rondo is completely inflexible and has no give. The firmness and girth of the Rondo could make this toy uncomfortable for a beginner but it should not scare away any other users.

Siena's material of choice is a high quality silicone, making the Rondo smooth to the touch and pleasant to use. Sadly, the only drawback to Siena's design aesthetic are the two highly visible seams on each side of the toy. Because of the slight catch that can occur with the material and seams, lubrication is must when using this toy. When used with lubricant, the material allows for a smooth texture with no ridges or uncomfortable catching points but still a slight drag around the side seams.

Design / Shape / Size

The Rondo is pretty! With an ergonomic design and pleasurable shape, the Rondo is a toy that can be used in so many ways. The shape allows for it to fit against the labia or clitoris and and also be inserted into the vagina. When inserted, it also is highly capable to stimulating the G-Spot. Insertion-wise, it may be a but too large for beginners but with enough time, even a beginner would grow to love this toy.

In addition to its pleasurable shape, the Rondo is also a standout because, unlike other powerful toys, it cannot be heard outside of my room. When in use, even on the highest settings, the Rondo is extremely quiet and discreet. It can't be hard over the sounds of running water, background electronic noise from a TV or radio, or even through bed covers.

The size of the toy could make it slightly difficult to hide in a small space, however it could easily fit into anyone's toybox. However, if left out in the open, the Rondo is indiscreet enough that it would not be mistaken for anything except for a sex toy. It's size and shape are unmistakable.

Functions / Performance / Controls

On the base of the Rondo are two round buttons and a single indicator light that control the start, stop, and vibrations of the toy. Either button will turn the vibrator on or off and, additionally, will circulate to the next vibration pattern. To turn the Rondo off, one has to hold down with of the buttons for a few seconds. Unfortunately, the Rondo does not have a designated off button nor an immediate off.

The Rondo has ten vibration patterns that vary from a constant high vibration to a setting of long, slow escalating pulses. The thick silicone material of the Rondo prevent the vibrations from feeling overly powerful and extreme. Instead all of the settings seem more like deep rumbling sensations that are comfortable for everyone, from beginners to more advanced players.

Care and Maintenance

Sadly the Rondo is not made to be used with silicone lube, but is able to be used with all other types. Despite this one minor drawback, overall, the Rondo is extremely easy to care for and requires little maintenance outside of lube consideration.

The Rondo's plastic base does not allow for sanitation in the dishwasher or by boiling water, a distinct disadvantage over a number of other toys. However, it can be cleaned using wipes, anti-bacterial soap and water, a 10% bleach solution, or a quality toy cleaner. Due to the Rondo's waterproof nature, I usually use soap and water without worry, but the other options would not damage the Rondo in anyway.
