If you happen to have a "clit of steel", this is a fabulous, rumbly pin point vibe. This toy was so over powered for me that using it alone left me so over sensitized that I couldn't orgasm. My poor clit felt like it got dragged into a dark alley, mugged, and left in a stupor.

However, all those silicone toys that I have that came with bullets that left me disappointed because the bullet was too under powered to over come the dampening effects of the silicone; the Salsa was a pure slice of heaven.

This is also fun for nipple stimulation if you aren't too sensitive. However, it is too small and does not have any flange, so it would not make a safe toy for any internal play be it vaginal or anal.

This toy says that it is plastic with a safety rating of 8, however, the top/button area really feels like silicone, and I would not feel secure using silicone lube on this toy. I would only stick to using water based lube just to be safe.

The texture of the body of the bullet is smooth hard plastic, and the button at the bottom/base feels like grippy quality silicone, with two little magnetic bumps where the charger connects.

The safety features include; Food-grade material, hypo-allergenic, latex free, phthalates free.

The salsa is odor free and feels moderately high quality in weight and "fit and finish".

This is not "a" bullet, but this is "THE" bullet of all bullets. Coming in at 3.5 inches in length, 2.25 inches around, .75 inch in diameter, and a hefty tenth of a pound.

All the valuable engine space that other bullets waste on batteries, the Salsa cleverly beefs up its internal engine, and powers up with a magnetic connector and rechargeable technology.

At the base of the Salsa is the easy to find and use silicone push button. This bottom is back lit when the vibe is in use, and the lights correspond to the vibrational patterns.

As to the separate white charging cord and mechanism, this cord and "magnetic" head are 72 inches long. I'm not sure about the design logic, but the magnetic port is a plastic semi-circle, with a chrome looking decorative ring that for some reason unplugs from the cord and is its own piece. This little mechanism is made of the same hard smooth quality material as the vibe itself. However the cord and the white plastic plug unit is manufactured from a plastic that feels cheap and inexpensive. The cord has a plastic rigidity to it, that does give me concern over time that it may be prone to cracking.

When charging, the little docking port shows an orange light and when completely charged, it turns green.

The vibe also comes with a very nicely constructed lined white satin pull-string bag. This storage bag measures 5 inches wide and 7.5 inches tall. The cord, charging dock, and Salsa easily store in this pouch.

Firstly, this is the most powerful RUMBLY vibe I've encountered to date. When holding it, it makes my entire arm vibrate up to the elbow on the lowest setting.

This bullet is so small and so powerful that not only is the vibe located in the entire toy, but it turns your hand and/or arm into a vibe.

The directions said to let the vibe charge for 90 minutes. It took over 3 hours because the magnetic connector would not stay in place.

This is a very solid unit and is definitely waterproof. Another great feature is that while it is extraordinarily powerful, it is extremely quiet at only 2 bees on the most vigorous levels.

Now, because this is a "standard" sized bullet, this little monster fits into all the places your cheap and under powered bullets fit. This is where I loved this toy. My Love Bunny silicone rabbit actually worked and got me off with his super thick nose and his ears were turned into an incredible clit encasing slice of heaven. There is a Happy Valley Big Boy sitting in my cart as I write this, because I'm absolutely confident that the Salsa inserted into the Big Boys bullet pocket is going to rock my g-spot into a state of unmitigated bliss.

When I place the Salsa on the bottom of my Tentacle, which does not have a pocket in the base for a bullet, but is solid, I get a vibe up the entire shaft with a vroom of almost 4.

Coupled with other toys is where the Salsa shines for me.

Because of the silicone base/push button control, keep your Salsa away from silicone toys and lubes (at least on the button end). I do use my bullet in silicone toys nose end inserted and feel safe about this use.

It is hard plastic every where else, and I use hot water and quality toy cleaner on mine, but you can use soap and water, 10% bleach solution, or toy wipes.

Very straight forward and easy cleaning with this toy.

The toy does come with a pristine, bright white silk bag that is going to get dirty the first time it hits air; in my house at least it did. I do store the cord in the silk bag, but for me, I just keep the toy in a pencil holder styled cup that I keep all my bullets in on the night table next to my bed.

I would be nervous to travel with this, as the push button is not protected and could easily get bumped and start rattling what ever luggage or purse it is in. There is no travel feature to the toy.

The packaging was really astounding, and I feel was a large portion of the price point I paid for this toy. This was a high quality box, with high quality printing. The cord had its own box inside the box, and the vibe had a molded white plastic cradle. Each piece had a clear plastic bag inside each of the boxes. And the instruction book was in a multitude of languages, but only needed 2 pages per dialect.

The packaging would make this a very nice gift for the right person, but it is not discreet as it says on the front in several languages, "Personal Massager" with an almost life sized image of the vibe, and on the back in a variety of languages, it says "Intimate pleasure for solo or couples play". On each side, there is an embossed nude stylized female figure.

This was definitely the package of a $70 toy. Measuring in at 7 inches tall, 4.25 inches wide at the back side, 3 inches wide on the front side and 2.5 inches deep.

I am really torn about this toy. Hence the title.

It is a veritable jack-hammer, and 24 hours after using it solo, my clit was still so over stimulated that I was unable to achieve orgasm with my favorite toys. That, coupled with the fact that I feel like this is a high powered basic bullet that should be about $45, with a cheap cord and a magnetic charging system that is tediously poorly designed and has to be constantly watched in order to get a full charge into the vibe.

However, when you tuck this little demon into a bullet port of your favorite silicone toy, or even butt it up to the base of a solid silicone toy, it is truly a slice of heaven, and makes toys that were otherwise "lame ducks", A-game toys.

When I opened this, not only was I under-whelmed, I was really disappointed for the amount of money I paid for it, and for all the "wow" reviews it has been getting. I was totally frustrated, after trying to charge it and having the magnetic mechanism have to be reconnected a number of times and taking twice as long to charge because of this issue. After I used it the first time, I was sure that I'd just wasted a good chunk of change, and that it was unusable to me.

Luckily, I have the Love Bunny and the Tentacle, and a friend talked me into trying the Salsa with these toys. The clouds parted, and this bullet was totally redeemed. It is sheer magic with chunks of silicone and g-spot dildos. Toys that were previously unusable due to their silicone dampening effects are taken to a new level of orgasmic joy with the Salsa.

So by itself, it gets 2 stars, and with other toys, it gets 4 stars. Splitting the difference is going to get it a 3 from me.
