While this set of lovely, soft silicone exercisers are not going to send you in to paroxysms of orgasmic joy it will help you strengthen your PC muscles so that you CAN be sent into paroxysms of orgasmic joy! If you have just had a baby, have been out of shape for many years or are just looking to maintain good muscle tone this set is for you. The Ami by Je Joue is probably the best vaginal exerciser for the widest variety of women. There is an exerciser here to fit whatever fitness level you are currently at. I got my set after I realized that I wasn't getting back into pre-baby vaginal tightness just doing Kegel exercises. After a few months of progressing through the stages my guys noticed an overall strengthening and tightening of my muscle response. My orgasms returned to their pre-baby strength and I didn't leak urine when I sneezed or laughed. The last part alone was enough for me but the added kick to my sex life pushed this from a good product to an amazing one, in my opinion.
The Ami arrive in a box that screams luxury! It is heavy cardboard and ties shut with a black ribbon. It is embossed with the Je Joue logo and is perfect for storing your new exercise equipment. The box is nondescript and doesn't draw attention to itself so it's safe to leave sitting on a bedside table or dresser. The Ami comes as a set of three insertable exercisers that are composed of high grade silicone that is a food-grade material, hypo-allergenic, latex free, non-porous, and phthalates free. In short it is perfect for what it is intended. The three pieces can be boiled, sprayed down with a 10% bleach and water solution, cleaned with a commercial toy cleaner or washed in hot water with some mild soap. They can be shared, easily after being cleaned.
The only thing you really cannot do with them is use them to exercise the anal muscles but given that the anal muscles are among the strongest in the body this really isn't an issue.
These are silicone toys so be sure to test an inconspicuous area of the toy is you prefer silicone lube before covering the toy in it. As always water based lube is 100% compatible with silicone. Oil based lubes shouldn't be used in the vagina as oil is very hard to wash away and it can trap and encourage the over growth of bacteria and/or yeast.
The three pieces in the set are graduated sizes and weights so that you build up to the smallest and heaviest. They are also different shapes offering a wider range of exercises you can do with them. Each of the pieces offers a long, soft and stretchy silicone cord for easy removal and for exercises where you pull on the toy, for resistance type muscle building. Experience
The starting point according to Je Joue is the large round piece. It is built for people who are new to kegel exercisers, out of practice or have had some trauma to the PC muscles such as childbirth. It is 4.75 inches long and 3.75 inches around. The entire toy is insertable and the cord should reach outside the vagina on most women. The user should slather the exerciser with lube and then gently insert it into the vagina. Now here's the fun part: the user can either walk around with the toy inserted contracting the PC muscles around the toy and simply holding it or the string can be utilized to gently tug on the ball while the user attempts to retain the ball. Either way it is fun and does give the PC muscles a work out! The ball is weighted slightly and the weight can be felt moving inside the ball for some added sensation. The sensation is nice but won't be enough to sexually excite most users. Given that this is not meant to be a sex toy but rather an exerciser I don't see this as a drawback.
The next step is the medium sized barbell. This is also the largest piece in the set measuring in at 6.25 inches in length with a circumference of 5 inches at the widest point. The piece features two balls connected by a stretchy silicone skin. This connecting skin is amazing for working the vaginal muscles at the base of the vagina around. Again, it is weighted and you can feel the weights moving around but not enough for this to be a stimulator. It can be used after lubing up, while walking around or laying down exactly the same as the round ball. It is a bit more tricky to keep this one from falling out and it might be too long for women with short vaginal canals to wear for long periods of time. After using this piece you should notice some real muscle fatigue until your muscles have become accustomed to both the weight and size of the toy. For ladies who experience vaginismus this might be a challenging toy. The toy is soft-ish and has some give, I would call it forgiving and user friendly.
Finally, we come to the last piece which is a heavier and smaller barbell. It measures in at 5.75 inches in total length and is a 4.25 inches in circumference. It is also covered in soft silicone and weighted. The weights in this piece do not move as freely and can't be felt when inserted. The balls are attached with the same sort of stretchy silicone skin so there is plenty of give to the toy. It is challenging to wear this one inserted while walking around. It is also quite a challenge to clamp down on this piece while tugging on the string.

TearraOkay so ive never tried kegel exercisers and im debating on weather i should get the je joue Ami exerciser set or the luna pleasure beads by Lelo..So can anybody who has experienced the both of these too items help me choose wich one would the best.

There's actually a few different options. I do wear them during my daily routine. I don't ignore them, however. Their weight and presence inside me and the fact that I can feel the internal balls rolling around inside them reminds me to do my kegels. I use my muscles to pull them deeper inside me and adjust them if they slip or something. The instruction booklet they come with has instructions for a few different series of exercise routines you can do with them too. I'm very pleased with mine.

You can insert them and forget them, but they aren't as effective (if effective at all). You should use them as a reminder to do Kegels and the added weight should make them more productive.

when's ami come back in stock?

I'm very curious about kegel exerciesers and it seems that many people think the ami from je joule is a really good option. However my roomate says it hasn't been in stock every since she got an eden acount and I havn't seen it in stock for awhile. Does anyone know when it will come back?

You can always set an alert to be notified when it comes back into stock, submit a support ticket to ask customer service, or send JR a message and he can look into it. That's what I would do. :)

I'm quite fond of my Luna beads. You can adjust the weight of them to fit your needs and graduate up, similar to how Ami comes with three different sets. Just instead of three whole sets it's customizable.

I have been looking through the vaginal muscle exercisers and I want to find a toy where I just buy the smallest toy in this box. And not all three as I do not need all three.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
I'd rather not buy the actual ben wa balls unless that is my only choice as I'd prefer to have the string part.
