Lover's pleasure balls - sex toy for women by Cal Exotics - review by Brian

The Lover's pleasure balls are currently listed under "Exercisers for vaginal muscles". While they may work in this fashion. I think that they work MUCH better as anal beads. The reason for this is that they are very lightweight as it is filled with air or some other sort of gas. The only way I could see these working out the vaginal muscles is if they are used like in Brainiac Chick's Review of a tug-a-war type exercise.

The Lover's pleasure balls used as anal beads can be used in a number of situations either by oneself or with a partner. They can be repeatedly put in and pulled out, either for pleasure or to loosen up for a larger toy or anal sex, or kept in during sex or masturbation and pulled out at the moment of climax.

While this toy is made out of jelly, it does not cause the burning sensation I have experienced with some other jelly toys. I think the reason for this, although I'm not positive, is that it is probably phthalates free. Normally this would mean that the toy would be fairly hard but thanks to the air pockets on each bead it's actually pretty cushy. It has a very minimal smell (may just be from my other toys) which is another indication of it possibly being phthalates free. The balls themselves are smooth with no texture and same with the string. There is a tiny seam around the center of each one of the balls (almost an equator of sorts). While evident to the eye, I have never felt any irritation from this. I'm guessing this is because the seam goes in instead of coming out which was smart on their part.

Eden doesn't have any measurements listed but I believe the diameter of all three balls is 1.25" making these the second largest anal beads I have ever used. Between each ball is a thin plastic or jelly cord connecting it to the next ball. I have two positives about this and one negative. First unlike nylon cord or something similar, this is much less irritating and doesn't get dirty after a few uses. There are other anal beads that's cord isn't made out of string but the cord on them is much thicker. This limits how much of a "popping" sensation that you get with them. The cords strength is also its weakness. The largest anal beads I've ever used was called Mondo Balls and had a similar type cord. After a few uses, the cord with the loop actually broke off from the two balls. Luckily I had already pulled out one of the balls so I was able to get it out fairly easily but this could have been bad. Now I have had the Lover's pleasure balls for more than three years now and have never had the same issue with these but it's a little worrisome since it's the same style cord and so I take extra care not to pull too hard on it. Considering these are marketed as vaginal exercise balls, you would think these would be able to stand up to quite a bit of pulling but you never know. These balls are also quite a bit smaller than the other toy so that should be taken into account as well.

The Lover's pleasure balls are different from a lot of other anal beads because of the cord. Instead of being somewhat stiff and pushing the previous ball further up into the rectum, these actually tend to form more of a clump down at the bottom which gives a nice full filling without any discomfort. The fact that they have the air pockets makes them easier to insert and remove and provides a different sensation than stiff anal beads. There is enough of a space between each of the balls for the anus to contract completely allowing the muscles to completely relax between each ball.

As my title states, these are my favorite anal beads. I plan to do a a review on these anal beads as they are my second favorite and are totally different than these. I like these because they are bigger than a lot of other anal beads but they are also very squishy so it's not uncomfortable even though they are bigger. I would not recommend these for a first anal toy but if you've already tried a smaller one and liked it then I would highly recommend these to you.

This toy is made out of jelly and thus is porous and not sterilizable. While fairly easy to clean compared to some other jelly toys, this toy should not be shared with others. In addition, since these are advertised for use vaginally, you should decide whether you plan to use them in that way or as anal beads and not go back and forth. I have not tried putting a condom over these as I only use them on myself anally but I would guess it would somewhat work but not be ideal. If you really like your first set and wish to share I'd recommend getting another set.

Another thing with these being made out of jelly is that you need to be careful what materials these come into contact with. I have had mine for quite some time now and they have several spots on them that won't come off from touching something, what I'm not sure.

I am giving this toy five stars because overall it's a great product. Just keep in mind my advice on not pulling the cord too hard. It also should not be shared due to it not being sterilizable. With these two things in mind you should be in for a great experience with these anal beads.
