Nipple clamps are a fun accessory to bring into the bedroom. Whether you're into BDSM or kinky sex, or if you are just looking to spice things up a little bit clamps can bring a lot of fun and excitement. The Bull Nose Nipple Clamps from California Exotic are a great set of clamps for beginners as well as those with a little more experience. The clamps are adjustable and can work for people of different levels of pain tolerance.

The clamps work great on nipples and on labia and the chain that attaches to the two clamps allows you or your partner to give a little tug to intensify the feeling.

The Clamps are made of metal and have latex tips. The latex pads the clamps and makes them softer and more comfortable to wear. If the latex is left on, there is not a lot of texture that will be felt. If removed, there are some points that will feel very sharp and painful. The metal that the clamps are made of is sturdy and strong. We were concerned at first that it might not hold up to much tugging, but it has done a great job.

I loved the design of these clamps. They are pretty much perfect for me and the type of play we like to use these for. The clamps are "alligator" style. You simply press down to open up the mouth of the clamp and then clip it to the desired area. There is a little screw you can use to adjust how much the clamp opens and closes. It is a good idea to adjust the clamp before putting it on, because it can be a bit tricky to adjust it while wearing it. There is a chain that connects the two clamps and is fun for gentle tugging and is the best part of the toy in my opinion. There is about 10" of chain and the clamps are each about 2" long. The latex covers of the clamps can come off the clamps and reveal some sharp teeth if you like some extra pain with your clamps, though I did not feel comforable using them this way so I didn't try it. If you do use them without the latex pads, be cautious because they could break the skin if used this way.

I believe the clamps would work well for most people, but some may have difficulty keeping them on if they have very small nipples, or more flat nipples. They are going to be harder to get on and easier to take off in this case and could potentially be frustrating to use.

The clamps are easy do care for. I just wipe them down with a damp cloth after use. You can wash them in soap and water as well. If you do wash them, be sure to dry them as soon as you can so that they don't get rusty.

It's a good idea to store these somewhere where they won't get lost. Because they are so small, they could easily get misplaced. I like to store mine in a small box with my other clamps and things.

When using clamps or any other type of pain that may include pain, it's really important to remember to have good communication with your partner. It may even be necessary to come up with a safeword to indicate when things have become too intense. Even with the clamps being adjustable, they still have the potential to do some damage. This is particularly true if they are left on for more than 15 minutes or so because they can cut off blood flow to the area.

Also the more skin you grab at once with the clamps, the less painful it will be. It is a good idea to play around with the clamps quite a bit before bringing them into the bedroom so you can get a feel for tolerance and sensitivity.

I absolutely love these clamps. We probably have 4 or 5 sets of clamps and these are absolutely my favorite. I use them by myself and with my partner and they are just a lot of fun to use. It's a lot of fun to tug on the chain and it's so nice to be able to adjust the tightness of the clamps since I can be more sensitive at times.
