Kissaholic aphrodisiac infused plumping lip gloss - sensual bath by Booty Parlor - review by Shellz31

SCENT:

I’m a big fan of Lip Venom, so when I saw the Kissaholic Aphrodisiac Plumping Lip Gloss by Booty Parlor appear on Eden I had to get it to compare the two. Unfortunately Lip Venom is highly expensive here in Australia, so if I can find one that works in a similar way then I'm all for it. The Plumping gloss is made in USA and comes in a range of scents/colours. I chose the Swoon which is Blackberry Honey and is a deep burgundy shade. Once brushed onto the lips it is clear with a more subtle translucent colouring.




It has a sweet mild berry scent with a hint of mint. The gloss is applied by a long stemmed brush that is attached to the inside of the black plastic lid. The plastic clear tube (including the tall lid) measures almost 4” in length and is half way between ½” and ¾” (1.5cm) in diameter. The gloss goes on rather thick and feels almost sticky when you press or rub your lips together. From memory, I believe this one is thicker than Lip Venom and also doesn't have the bite. This one has more of a cool chilling sensation. It gives the lips a nice glossy shine which lasts me a good 1 hour 40 minutes due to the thickness of it. It also stands up well if you happen to lick your lips, it doesn't rub off so easily due to being oil based. Licking your lips tends to briefly re-activate the mint effect. I believe it's the cool air blowing on the saliva (after licking) that gives the cooling feeling again.

PACKAGING:

The lip gloss arrived in a small pink rectangle cardboard box that has “Kissaholic xoxo” in large letters across the front. On one end is a colour shade and name of the gloss you chose. The back features the ingredients. It's fine if giving as a gift, but wouldn't take long to become tatty looking.
