Natural, organic, excellent

This is my new favorite lube. When you can find one with safe, all natural ingredients that is water based and therefore safe to use with any toy, that works well and has no taste and no significant smell, why use another?

Use

Real Housewife Kandi Burruss coordinated with Sliquid to create this lube. It is part of her Bedroom Kandi line of sex products.

Bedroom Kandi Natural Lubricant is a light, almost scent free lube perfect for those who want a lube made only with natural, organic ingredients and which is a bit thinner than the average lube. It would also be suitable for those who will participate in oral after using lube since it has no taste.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

Bedroom Kandi is just a bit thinner than the average lube. If you apply some to a surface and wait, it will immediately begin to run a bit. It isn't as thin as silicone lubes, but it is thinner than Maximus and Ride, to compare it with two popular lubes.

To use it, you need to turn the bottle upside down and squeeze a bit. For a thinner lube, I was surprised that it took a bit more effort to squeeze some out than I expected. Maybe it's the thickness of the bottle that accounts for this.

It feels very slippery when first applied. After only a minute of rubbing on dry skin, there will be only the faintest amount left. It quickly and completely absorbs into skin, leaving no residue at all.

Taste / Aroma

Bedroom Kandi has almost no scent and no taste. My cat did pull his nose away from it, but I found it's scent to be light, natural and not objectionable at all. I thought he might not react to its very subtle scent. I use my cats as scent testers when a product has no scent or almost no scent. As long as your sense of smell isn't in league with cats, you won't notice a scent with this lube.

Performance

Bedroom Kandi has almost the exact same ingredient list as Sliquid Organics Gel.

Sliquid Organics Gel:
Purified Water, Plant Cellulose (from Cotton), Organic Aloe Barbadensis, Natural Tocopherols (Vitamin E), Cyamopsis (Guar Conditioners), Organic Extracts of Hibiscus, Flax, Green Tea & Sunflower Seed, Citric Acid (Citrus Fruits), Phenoxyethanol (Rose Ether)

Bedroom Kandi Natural Lubricant:
Purified water, Plant Cellulose (from cotton), Aloe Barbandensis*, Natural Tocopherois (Vitamin E), Cyamopsis (Guar Conditioners), Extracts of Hibscus*, Flax*, Green Tea* & Sunflower seed*, Potassium Sorbate, Citric Acid (Citrus fruits)

*Organic

You can see that one has Potassium Sorbate, while the other has Rose Ether and that is the only difference, aside from possible differences in the ingredient ratios. Kandi coordinated with Sliquid to make this lube, so it makes sense that it would be similar.

Note that it is glycerin free, paraben free and petroleum free and is made from all natural ingredients. I was particularly pleased to see that Flax was one of the ingredients since it has phytoestrogens which may be useful in maintaining vaginal health. At least estrogen cream is prescribed for that purpose.

When you apply some to skin and rub, very quickly it seems to absorb in. It does not leave a sticky residue. I was surprised at how completely it absorbed into skin. But this is not really what you want in a lube. I was concerned that it would vanish quickly when used with toys. In actual use, it seems to last as long as other lubes. I haven't had to reapply it any more frequently than other lubes.

With lubes like this, you are supposed to add water if it dries out. I confess that I don't know how to accomplish that. Keep a bowl of water nearby? Interrupt things and run to the bathroom? I will always disregard such instructions and add more lube when needed. It seems to work.

I have really enjoyed using this lube. It adds to the experience knowing that the ingredients are all organic, natural products that I don't have to worry about and that may even be good for me. And it works just as nicely as lubes with worrisome ingredients. There's nothing not to love about this lube.

Packaging

Bedroom Kandi Natural Lubricant comes in a dark brown plastic bottle with an elegant black label and gold text. It's very attractive. Inside the cap is a safety seal. It arrives inside a plastic bag for leakage protection.

The text is very small and doesn't stand out well from the black label. On the label is a statement from Kandi that her products "marry body safe materials with designer quality."

Also listed on the bottle are the facts that this lube is vegan, not tested on animals, is latex friendly, paraben, gylcerin and petroleum free and is hypoallergenic and non-staining.
