Nice for the price
This vibe provides good orgasms on the cheap. It's louder than I expected and the plastic is very hard (although this might be a plus for some people). I'll certainly keep using it.Published: November 21, 2008
Pros:
Inexpensive, surprisingly powerful vibes, cute
Cons:
Not all that quiet, waterproof seal is unreliable, battery compartment is too small
When I opened the package, the first thing I noticed is that the Slimline G is bigger than I expected it to be. For whatever reason, my brain had interpreted the online images to be representative of a pocket-sized vibrator with a smallish head. The Slimline G isn't huge, but the head is thicker than I imagined, and it definitely isn't pocket-sized.
The second thing I noticed, after I had put in two AA batteries and turned it on, is that the motor is surprisingly powerful (and noisy). There isn't a large difference in the intensity between the low setting and the high setting; both are pretty buzzy. When I opened up the bottom to put the batteries in, the black waterproof ring seal fell right off. So, mine isn't waterproof. I also found the shaft to be slightly too small for the batteries: when you put the first one in, it doesn't fall to the bottom so you can put the second one in. It gets stuck and you have to use the second battery to shove the first one down the shaft. Likewise, they don't come out without a fight. I must have shook the damn thing for about a minute before one of the batteries was far enough out that I could grab it. Annoying.
So, then I finally got down to business. I started on the lowest setting (it's a twist dial, so it's really more of a continuum than separate settings), which felt very good all over my body and through my underwear. I lubed the toy up and tried it as what it's intended for: a g-spot vibe. I have to say, despite all the little annoyances up to that point, it felt *really* nice inside. The fact that it's made of hard plastic meant that there was very little give, which was great for finding and applying pressure to my g-spot. I had a pretty nice orgasm pretty quickly.
I have also found that this vibrator is, on the high setting, very good for clit stimulation also. It does the job very quickly this way, too. All in all, it's not the best vibe out there, but it works and is cheap. I just can't take mine in the shower. The Marble Slimline G is also not the best vibe for discretion. I ended up using it under covers with a fan going since I have roommates.

Does anybody know if this vibrator is good for p spot play? It looks amazing for it. If not, which ones do you recommend?

All of the toys on this page are specifically made for p-spot play.
I'm sure that people will come in and recommend their favorite p-spot toys (as I have no P-spot my recommendations are shoddy at best ;)) but I wanted to make sure you didn't buy that one for butt use. -

Thank you for viewing Marble slimline G – sex toy review page!

I love hard plastic, especially for g-spot and clit stimulation. The head on this one looks intimidating, though! Is it large enough to be painful to insert?
I was probably too hyperbolic in my review. I thought the head was going to be tiny, but in reality it's just scaled up a bit. Insertion hasn't been painful at all: the head is ovular and is less wide than a ping-pong ball.
Maybe if you lube up the batteries a little bit before insertion they'll come out more easily. There's another use for lube that you don't like!
That's interesting. I wouldn't have thought of that. You can lube up batteries without hurting anything?
I wouldn't lube up the batteries. Most lube is water based and putting water in a battery compartment will cause the connections to corrode faster.
I just do what my partner has lovingly referred to as the "battery dance". I own this toy as well. It involves some tapping, shimmy-ing, and general beating to get those darn batteries out!
Thanks for the review!
I just got mine and I didn't have a problem with the batteries...but I will agree with you the power is amazing. I'm def. going to keep using it! Thanks for the review!
