No Bliss Here, Just Boredom.

Visually, this is a beautiful toy, but the looks were deceiving once I started to play with it. The biggest flaws are its design and power, both which need a serious overhaul.
Published:
Pros

Cons

extremely useful review
So much about writing a promising review for the Silicone Bliss from California Exotics, because it was a big disappointment for me. It's not a terrible toy, but it has just as many cons as it does pros. It's just not exciting enough for me and failed my "if-it-doesn't-make-me-cum-in-10 minutes-or-less" test. So would anyone benefit from owning this one? Sure, someone who gets off with the slightest touch. It's made to stimulate the clitoris and the G-spot, but it didn't work for my anatomy and was not comfortable to use for thrusting either.

MATERIAL
A milky white silicone sleeve covers the main shaft of the toy. Although the product page lists it as TPR Silicone, compared to numerous other TPR silicone sleeve toys I've tested, this one just feels different: it's firmer, more dense and therefore smoother, and less squishy. So there's a possibility that it could be closer to 100% silicone as the product packaging states, which would make it less porous than TPR. Either way, it's still a safe bet if you are sensitive to other materials. It does attract lint, and being that it's light in color, everything will show up on the surface. There's a very faint seam running lengthwise, but it's only noticeable manually, if at all. Initially, there's also a faint odor, but it's not offensive and there's no taste whatsoever.

SIZE & DESIGN
The size is roughly 8.5 inches long with approximately 4.5 inches of that being insertable. Overall it's a good, manageable size that's also lightweight. It's not very thick either, so most users should be able to handle the girth. So what's problem #1? The positioning of the angled G-spot tip and the clitoral vibrator just seem off, way off! I couldn't get either to hit my spots effectively at the same time nor when concentrating on just one area. When fully inserted, the tip extended far past my G-spot and the wiggly clitoral vibrator had to be manually pressed against my clitoris for me to feel anything. The main area of texture, which is limited to some soft ridges around where the 3-rows of rotating beads are located, gives it a little extra cushion so it doesn't feel like the beads are scratching your insides. Problem is, it's almost too thick to even feel the beads!

The clitoral tickler looks a bit like a horned larvae, with a mini-bullet providing a mild buzz. It protrudes out at around a 30-degree angle from the main shaft, which is a pretty large gap if you ask me, considering my favorite, most effective, and beloved Eager Beaver has about a 20-degree angle and a shorter tickler. I find that the ones with a larger angle don't hit my clitoris as well, but it will vary for each user.

FUNCTIONS
Bliss is powered by 4-AAA batteries. I thought that would give it more juice, it doesn't. As for the pressure activated control panel located on the front side of the handle, I don't know why they bothered marking the buttons to begin with since they are so hard to read, because they are imprinted in same color as the rest of the control pad: white. Fortunately, it won't take a rocket scientist to figure out which button does what. The left buttons control the power for each function and the right ones adjust either the direction of the pearl rotation (top one) or the speed of the clitoral vibe. There are only two speeds anyhow, a low and a high, both of which are very quiet and not very powerful. That's problem #2. Even the rotationg pearls are quieter on this model than others I have used.

CARE
The nice thing about the toy is that it's waterproof, so you don't have to be super careful when cleaning it. The battery compartment actually has a double safety closure, with the outermost seal being the one that provides the impermeability. The inner cap will simply prevent the batteries from falling on to the floor when it's opened.

Only a water-based lubricant should be used and cleaning should be done with an adult toy cleaner or warm soap and antibacterial water. Store away from other toys and out of the light and heat.
Experience
My experience with this toy was less than memorable. I don't see myself reaching for it again, other than to write a follow-up review in a few months.
Follow-up commentary
My opinion on this toy hasn't changed. It's been sitting in it's original packing since my original review, still looks new and functions fine, but I have no interest in it. There's really nothing else to say. Thumbs down!
