Not a Cactus!

INA is a toy that requires a learning curve. The first time I used it, it hurt. I had to set it aside and try again at a different point in my cycle, and it's not going to be the first thing I reach for if I'm feeling the itch. It's amazing...when I'm in the mood for its specific method of stimulation. INA is a top of the line dual-action vibrator: sleek, strong, and well-designed.

Use

The thing with INA is, INA is not a multi-use toy. It does one thing and that one thing it does well, but unless you're looking for a rigid, pressure-intense dual-action vibrator, you probably aren't going to need this toy. INA is a beautiful, sleek, dual-action vibrator. Its two motors work together to provide any level of stimulation from hmmmm to OMG. It's my "I need to get off quick" go-to toy. I come fast, and that's what it does. Would I use it for anything other than when I want a fast orgasm? Well...probably not. It's not a couples toy because it does it all. It's not a slow teasing toy; it's made for power.

If you're looking for a sleek, well-designed dual-action toy, INA may just be the one for you. It's rechargeable, quiet, and has a wide range of patterns and speeds to satisfy most people.

Material / Texture

The INA is made of two different materials: a silky silicone and hard plastic for the controls and handle. It's soft, but firm, and I like that. The arm has plenty of give but snaps firmly back into place when released. The main leg of the toy has no give. It is hard plastic underneath, and it's definitely not flexible. If your body is not the right shape, it may provide quite a bit more pressure than desirable due to the general rigid form of the INA.

There's no texture for the texture-whores, but the gentle silicone should be compatible with anyone. The material is so soft that it has very little drag.

The biggest selling point is, of course, that the material is body-safe! There are no funky smells and you can feel safe knowing that after use, it can be easily cleaned.
    • No odor
    • Rigid
    • Smooth

Design / Shape / Size

Though INA isn't that big, I found it intimidating when I initially held it, and painful the first time I used it. The design is certainly not a design I would hand to someone who'd never used a sex toy before; it's very body specific and primarily fits one need. If I would change anything, I would give the arm more bend.

INA seems to be a toy with very little middle ground. Either your body loves it, or your body hates it.

The design and colors are absolutely beautiful. This is an aesthetically pleasing toy, though if you leave it out it certainly can't be passed off as anything but a sex toy. I particularly liked the sleek design and bright neon color.

Functions / Performance / Controls

INA is a "dual-function" vibrator, which means it has two motors: one in the shaft, and one in the flexible arm. It has four buttons to control the functions: + and - control the speed and the arrows cycle through the vibration patterns. Any pattern can be selected at any speed. I'm not a big fan of the button layout because I don't find it as hand-friendly as other toys, but it's probably the most straight-forward method of control available.

The speed varies from fairly low to very intense, and the vibrations are deeper, not too buzzy. On the lower settings, it's quiet enough that it can't be heard from under the covers, and on the higher settings, it won't be heard through a closed door.

The vibration patterns are really the big seller. You can cycle between continuous vibration, continuous only in the shaft, continuous only in the arm, and five different pulsation patterns. There's something for everyone in here, as long as your body is compatible with the shape.

INA is not waterproof. Do not submerge this toy unless you're not interested in having a vibrator anymore. This is disappointing because INA is a fairly expensive toy.

This is a rechargeable toy, so no batteries are required, but you will need to have access to an outlet. Straight from the box it came with a bit of charge, and it takes a few hours to fully charge. I haven't run out of charge yet...it holds a decent amount of juice.
    • Discreet sound
    • Powerful
    • Rechargeable

Care and Maintenance

The silicone coating will easily wipe clean with a tissue or a cloth. There is an opening near the top of the toy for charging and because of this I would not recommend the risk of getting it near an open water source...a cloth and soap, or a toy cleaner, will do the job nicely. Be careful around the charging plug and buttons and it will last. Do not submerge INA.

As INA already comes with a nice little satin bag, storage is a breeze. The black box could also be used, as it's nice and discreet, but will take up more space than the bag.

As with all silicone-based toys, do not use a silicone lubricant. This may make the silicone coating permanently tacky.
    • Easy to clean
    • Easy to store

Packaging

I can't say enough about LELO's packaging, and INA does not disappoint. Every LELO toy comes packaged in beautiful, sleek boxes with instructions and a warranty. These aren't embarrassing boxes. All I can say is that LELO knows what their customers want: great design, minimalism, and functionality. The packaging is as great as the toys contained.

Were I to give a sex toy as a gift, the packaging would be suitably discreet, and all of the information needed about the toy is contained within.

Really, I can think of more companies than just sex toy companies that should take a nod from the packaging design of a LELO product.

INA specifically comes in a white box designed around the color of the toy inside. There is a matte black box inside with LELO stamped on with something shiny. The box contains INA in a plastic clamshell sort of display piece, and all of the information underneath. It's very nice and I will definitely be using this box for something.
    • Discreet looking packaging
    • Would make a nice gift
Follow-up commentary
Rabbits require a specific mood for me, one where I'm feeling really, really damn lazy. I only reach for this toy when I'm feeling that lazy, which isn't all that often.

It does its job well: provides a lazy orgasm. No flexibility, no variety of uses: just one too-lazy-for-a-dildo orgasm machine. If that's all you wanted, Ina might very well be the toy for you.

  • How strong is the Ina in comparison to other vibrators?
    • I'm saving up for an Ina and want to be sure that it's worth it for my partner and I. I know my way around vibes pretty well so for those who own or have used an Ina, comparisons to any other vibe could be useful.

Particularly useful would be comparisons to the wahl 5-speed massager, the hitachi, the mimi and the we-vibe salsa, though. Those are especially appreciated!! :P

      Thanks!

(Discussion of other elements of the toy is fine too, if anything stands out about it to y'all)
    • I don't personally have any of those toys you mentioned, but you're more than welcome to send messages to the people who have reviewed it to see if they have any of the others you're interested in for comparison's sake. :) That's usually easier and faster than waiting for a response on a thread since they get buried so easily.

the lower the speed the longer it will last

I guess so, but I usually dont use the max speed and the charge does last long :( I've had mine for over two months already.

  • Ina Buttons
    • I notice that the buttons on my Ina don't always respond the first time I push them...It's kind of annoying. Has anyone else had this problem with theirs or heard of this happening?
    • I noticed that, too. You just need to hold them down a teeny bit longer than you think you need to.

Yes, I agree. You have to give them a purposeful push to get them to change levels. But I just figured that was because the old Lelo toys were too easy to accidentally push and cause a change.

Hi, I was wondering is this product soft or is it hard for the material that was made into this product. Some times when the product is hard it kind of hurt certain places if not used right.
    • Sometimes it's easier to go to the product page and read some of the reviews on the product to find out information about it. Since I don't personally have the product, I do not know, but you might want to try out what I said. If the reviews do not answer your questions, ask the reviewer in a comment how firm or soft it is.
    • Also, on the product page, Victoria has a really good review which would answer all your questions. There is another thread about Ina, not linked on the product page (you can search the forums with the main search bar, though): link
