This vibrator was bought to possibly replace my old favorite egg. God rest the egg. When I first received this, I was really excited. I was thinking, "This may be it . . . this may take the egg's place." It has been very hard to find a replacement, and I think I will continue to look. Emma's Passion is for clitoral stimulation only. I would recommend it for women who only need to use it as a clit stimulator for foreplay or for solo play. The actual toy is waterproof; it has no cord attached to it. I may be a little bit too harsh on the toy; I like strong vibrations for my stimulators while other people may prefer lighter. Each person is different. You know, come to think of it . . . men might like to use this as a stimulator for anal play. They may like it because it does not have those strong vibrations that I like. I did not try this toy out for anal play. However, I believe it can be used for that, only I would not fully insert it as it does not have a leash nor a cord to keep hold of it.

Emma's Passion is made of TPR silicone, also known as CyberSilicone. TPR silicone is rubber based. On this particular toy, there were also nodules or nubbies for your pleasure. The skin was very smooth and soft. You could also pull the skin off and use it as a regular bullet. The control base is made of a dial, which allows you to dial up the various levels; just turn the edge of the bottom portion to move through the levels. The actual skin moved very smoothly with the use of water-based lubricant. I did like the nubbies on the toy; they gave me a little extra pleasure.

The style of Emma's Passion is made to look like a rosebud that has not opened yet. It comes in two colors: red, which I have, and a nice purple. I really enjoyed the design of this cute little clit stimulator. The size of the toy is so small that it can fit in the palm of your hand. The actual recorded size is 3” in length, the insertable size is 2 ¼”, and the diameter of the cute rose is but 1”. Emma's Passion only weighs two ounces. It is very discreet and easy to hide in your hand, your purse, or what have you. This toy is so small that it can be used by anyone from the beginner to the more advanced toy lover. If this toy had better vibrations, it would be one of my favorites. I do believe that everyone's taste is different, so just because this toy only brought me a little joy does not mean it will not bring someone else an over-the-top orgasm. So, I would definitely recommend this toy for one and all. If you do not like it, the rosebud can always be mixed and matched with other toys to help you get your juices flowing.

The functions on Emma's Passion are pretty simple. To change the level of intensity, the dial is at the bottom of the rosebud on the black part (the same part that holds the batteries). However, all you have to do to turn on the toy is twist the very bottom of the black part to the right. You will hear a click and then the different levels of vibration. I am not quite sure exactly how many speeds are on this toy. The highest level is all the way towards the right until you hear it click. To turn it off, just reverse the direction towards the left until you hear it click. The vibration goes all the way through the rosebud part, which will be the colored part (either the red or the purple part). This is the part that I am not too thrilled about. I would much rather have higher vibrations to play with on my bullets or eggs. The noise level on this toy is very quiet, so I will give that a plus. No one really likes a very loud toy. Emma's Passion rosebud is waterproof; I did not notice any difference between its performance out of the water versus in the water.

The care and maintenance of the Emma's Passion rosebud are pretty simple. Since this product is made of TPR silicone, the best way to clean this toy is with warm water and antibacterial toy cleaner or with warm water and a mild soap. TPR silicone should be cleaned before and after use to keep the bacteria from growing. This toy is latex free, phthalates free, and hypoallergenic. I find the rosebud to be one of the easiest toys to keep clean. The best lubricant to use with this is a water-based one. As always, using a condom with any sexual play is the best way to keep yourself and the toys disease free.

The packaging for this toy is a nice, smaller box that has a clear window so you can view the toy. It shows a beautiful woman with the toy on the front of the package. I would not declare this package to be discreet; as stated in the previous sentence, it shows a picture of the toy on the front.

My personal comments are as follows: just because this toy did not meet my expectations for it does not mean that it would not meet just about anybody else's, so I say to give it a try. The price for it is just right.

The rosebud did get me to a very nice orgasm. However, it took way too long.
