Not platinum enough for me.

If you're looking for your first toy, then the Platinum edition of the bunny kiss is a great toy to try. It offers dual vaginal and clitoral stimulation as well as nine exciting functions. It is non-intimidating and is designed to insert easily. It comes in three color options so you're bound to find a color you like.

Use

The Platinum edition bunny kiss from California Exotics is a dual stimulating vibrator that allows you to insert the shaft internally while the bunny attachment stimulates you clitorally.

This can be used solo or with a partner. If a partner is using it with you, the bunny attachment at the clitoral area wouldn't stay in place, but it is a nice toy to allow your partner the opportunity to become comfortable with using toys with you and shouldn't intimidate them in any way.

It is non-intimidating and is very beginner friendly. The design isn't penis shaped so those new toys don't have to worry about that. It's best for those who prefer slimmer toys and do not require a lot of power to be stimulated.

Material / Texture

It is made out of TPR which rates a 7 on the Eden safety scale. It is considered less porous than Cyberskin, but more porous than Silicone. It is considered to be latex free, phthalate free, and hypoallergenic. TPR is sticky to me and didn't want to come out of its original packaging. It has some drag to it so I recommend using lubricant with this. The battery cap is ABS plastic which rates an 8 on the Eden safety scale, but isn't what gets inserted though. It has a decorative silver ring around the battery cap.

It has a vine and leaf pattern embedded onto the material, but it isn't raised and doesn't offer any additional texture or stimulation. There's a vertical seam that runs down the shaft of the toy, but it can't be felt while inserted.

The material is very flexible; I was able to twist, bend, and flex it anyway I felt like it. The base is firm and hard.

It had a light smell to it, but that was only if you put your nose directly up to it.

Overall, this is best suited for those who prefer smoother toys.

Design / Shape / Size

This is offered in three colors: blue, purple, and pink. I have the blue and you're able to see through the material and see the inner workings of the vibrator. You are also able to lift the material up partway over the shaft.

The shaft is short and thin with a bulbous head. The clitoral attachment looks like a life-like bunny rabbit with eyes, ears, nose, mouth, body, and tail. It looks like the bunny is hugging up on the shaft of the toy. The ears are pointed out and facing you so they can flutter at your clitoris. The bulbous head is tapered and allows for easy insertion.

The design wasn't able to do anything for me. I believe it will only work for those who have shallow g-spots or those who are learning their body.

It has an overall length of 7 1/2" with an insertable length of 3". Following the curve of the shaft it measures 4 1/2" and the bunny measures 2 1/4" long. The shaft at the bulbous head is 3 3/4" around and 2 1/4" directly underneath the shaft. It measures 4 1/2" around at the base and 3 3/4" at the cap. The bunny's face is 2 1/4" around.

It is best for those who prefer smaller toys.

Due to its small size, it can easily fit into a deep coat pocket, purse, or bag if you plan on traveling with it.

Although this isn't penis shaped, most will recognize this as a sex toy so I'm going to say that this isn't exactly discreet.

Functions / Performance / Controls

This requires 2 AAA batteries that was not included. It offers 9 different settings to offer a good variety for its users. It has a one push button control that is located at the bottom of the toy that controls all of these 9 functions. You have to cycle through each setting to turn it off, so this is a drawback for those who have the potential of being walked in on.

The functions are as follows:

1-3: low, medium, and high steady vibration
4: three pulses-pause-repeat
5: two pulses and one drawn out pulse-repeat
6: three pulses and one drawn out pulse-repeat
7: rev up and then off-repeat
8: five fast pulses and one drawn out-repeat
9: five pulses-pause-repeat

The vibrations are best felt at the base and are strongest there, but you can feel the vibrations at the shaft and at the bunny ears. The vibrations are mostly buzzy with a slight rumbly undertone, but vibrates my hands while holding it.

I prefer the high steady vibrations, because I've never been a fan of pulsation patterns. Overall, I consider the highest settings to be a high 3 Vroom. I base this from comparisons of Mimi and Uma. Mimi is a strong 4 Vroom and Uma is a 5 Vroom toy and this does not have the power that Mimi or Uma has.

The battery compartment is under a screw on cap and is very easy to install. Just make sure you align the battery cap up properly because it does ridges for it to sit in.

I didn't use this one in a water setting, but it has a seal to protect water from seeping in. I suggest you make sure that the material is all the way down first and not pulled back. It would also be best if the cap is twisted on properly before using it in a water setting.

This won't be heard through thin walls or closed doors.

Care and Maintenance

It is best to clean this before and after every use with mild soap and water. You can also use your favorite toy cleaner or toy wipe. I'd let it air dry before putting it away because it could collect the little fuzzies from your towels due to its sticky material. When storing this, I'd keep it stored away from any area that has a lot of debris.

It is best to use water based, silicone based, or a hybrid of water and silicone based lubricants with this toy.

TPR materials cannot be sanitized or sterilized so it is best not sharing this with anyone that you're not fluid bonded with.

Packaging

This included a small operation guideline that featured a diagram of the battery compartment and how to properly care for the vibrator and batteries.

Experience

I wanted to try this edition because I have the original Platinum edition butterfly kiss and I wanted to see if they were similar products or not. In my opinion they are very similar. The nine functions are exactly the same so as far as I can tell, the only difference between the two is that the clitoral attachments are a bunny versus a butterfly.

This does not have the power that I require, but it is still a nice toy.
