Not quite a red-hot romance.....When it comes to traditional vibrators, this one is tops in terms of construction and quality. Its "come hither" head may provide some with just the pleasure they are looking for, while others may find the ride just a little too bumpy.
Silicone material, separate on-off switch.
Uncomfortable, learning curve on controls.
This is a straight-forward vibrator. The vibration concentrated in the curved tip allows for use as a stimulator for the g-spot, clit, or other areas that one may want to pinpoint vibrations. This can be used in couples and solo play. The simple controls make this good for beginners, while the flexibility and waterproof qualities of the toy will appeal to both new and experienced users alike.
The silicone is wonderful on many levels: First, being one of the most sanitary materials that a toy can be made of, it puts one's mind at ease. The smooth, soft texture of the material allows for minimal lube (just no silicone lubes). The silicone produces no smell, as well. This toy provides some textural variety in the curved nature of the tip and some ribbing towards the top. For those looking for texture-play this may not be very stimulating, but others could find this to be a nice enhancement. The shaft, overall, is flexible but not positionable.
The overall design of this toy is similar to that of other traditional vibrators. With 6 of its 9-inch shaft being insertable and with a girth of 4 3/4", this may not be a beginner's first toy but it is not so much to be more then the average user can handle. At 7 oz, the lightweight nature of this toy can allow for longer use. Being of an abstract nature, you may be able to get away with this toy on a trip, but this is not the type you can throw in your purse or leave out on your nightstand.
The vibrations of this toy are centered at the tip, though they do radiate down the entire shaft. There are separate buttons for on and off and for cycling through the vibration options which include three steady vibrations at increasing intensity as well as two steady pulsing, a short-short-long pulse, and an increasing low to high steady loop. Depending on use, the buttons may be hard to see during play so operation may have a slight learning curve. In use, the toy is whisper quiet. In water tests the toy remained sealed.
Being made of silicone makes cleanup a breeze. You can simply wash with soap and water or to really sanitize the toy, it may be put in boiling water or put on the top shelf of a dishwasher. Its only downside is that it cannot be used with silicone lubes.
I really wanted to like this toy, especially after having positive results with other L'Amore products. In the end, however, it came down to an issue of ergonomics. No matter what I seemed to do, the bent tip of the toy had an uncomfortable pressure and irritated, rather then stimulated, my g-spot. It has been decent as a clit stimulator but I have bullets that I feel better do the job, as I can more easily set them into position. Since is primarily an issue of fit, I cannot totally discourage people from this product, but if fit is an issue for you, it certainly something to consider with this one.
