Vibro balls - vaginal balls discontinued by Pipedream - review by ViVix

Legend has it that these balls were once inserted by women who then rocked back and forth until they orgasmed.

These are made in China, which would explain why they are plastic with gold plating. Two standard size Ben Wa balls (4 1/8" circumference). A nylon cord runs between the two balls and forms a loop at the top for withdrawal. The balls themselves have a ridge in the middle where their two halves meet, and little indents around the top, which I'm not sure of the purpose. The balls themselves are supposed to be good to remind you to do kegels and to strengthen your pelvic muscles. Inside of the two larger balls are two smaller weighted balls, which are supposed to move around to cause a vibrating feeling. Can be used for anal or vaginal play.

The packaging is ugly. There is a picture of a woman with a partially shaved vagina on the front, and it's all gold and tan. The case for the balls is a cheap red and clear plastic. The balls themselves aren't exactly eye candy.

Let's talk about my sanitation fears...
Anything with a nylon cord most likely needs a foaming cleanser in the first place. However, the tiny ridge on each of these balls will be nearly impossible to clean. Also, where the cord runs through the product, there is a gap for bodily fluids to get into the balls where it will never be washed out from.

When inserted in the vagina, these balls do cause a feeling of weight, though I got none of the promised vibrating. I also didn't really need to exercise my muscles at all to hold them in. As for intended use, these just weren't fantastic. I do, however, think that using these in combination with a vibrator could be awesome.

As for other alternative uses, they are recommended for both vaginal and anal. However, because of the poor cleansing ability, if you use them for anal, I wouldn't suggest keeping them for extended use. I also agree with a previous review that the chord may not be long enough for safe anal play.

So, because I was so gung ho on making these things vibrate, I sat down in a rocking chair and proceeded to viciously rock back and forth (see the legend part...also try not to laugh at the mental image). Basically what I can tell you is that every once in awhile, a sudden shift will cause a clacking sound, but there is absolutely no vibrating.

I still think that the vibro balls don't vibrate at all, even if you "shake it like a Polaroid picture." Nothing has changed about the fact that you can't fully clean them.
