Spellbound G - g-spot vibrator discontinued by Cal Exotics - review by Lunacy Setting in

I generally have this idea that the nicer packaging a toy arrives in, the fancier a toy it will be. While the Spellbound isn't as fancy as other toys I have seen, it certainly seems a bit more advanced then any average, inexpensive colorful vibrator that comes in indiscreet plastic packaging.

It is quite aesthetically pleasing; it is made of plastic with velvet cote so not only is it safe but it's also very smooth and easy to hold onto. It's thicker than I expected it to be, but not enormously so and with a water-based lube it could even be beginner-friendly.

There is a small silver ring on the toy that apparently enhances pleasure. Perhaps I'm just not used to such things but I don't think it made much of a difference for me. That being said it was a nice aesthetic touch to the toy and it doesn't hinder anything otherwise.

The tip is curved perfectly, you don't feel like you're deliberately poking yourself and if you're navigating the toy while it's inside you it won't hurt.

I popped my shower play cherry with this toy. It is waterproof but I found I had better luck using it for g-spot fun when I was lying or sitting down rather then standing in the shower. It works nicely for clitoral stimulation as well, I wound up using it on my clit in the shower and actually having g-spot fun when I was back in my room. It could probably make bath time a blast, but then again I don't know how immersing a toy would really turn out.

The toy takes C batteries, which I suppose can be inconvenient but it isn't a big deal. Instructions recommend the typical mild soap & warm water rinse before and after use, but a toy cleaning spray would also do the trick.

The spellbound works at a nice variety of speeds from low to high. It's not noisy, but when you put it to the highest setting it does start to rattle a bit. But unlike a vibrator I once owned it doesn't sound like a chainsaw, so I'm content.

Even though I wasn't left spellbound by this vibe, I'm giving it a five star rating anyway. It is a quality toy that any sex toy aficionado should be happy to have in her (or his) arsenal.

Although I still enjoy the Spellbound, it's not the best vibrator, and it's more satisfying than really "spellbinding." It still works well and has steady vibrations, and it provides great clit orgasms but can never really get me via G-Spot. Also, a few months after I got it, I noticed it was discoloring; it has these random dark splotches on it now. I clean it with soap and water after each use and let it try, and I'm pretty sure my vagina isn't toxic or containing any kind of tar. So I'm not too sure why that happens. That being said, it still doesn't detract from the toy's functionality.
