Not Such A Superstar

I used this as more of a dildo than a vibrator and I found it overall to be rather lackluster. If you're new to toys, this might be a good option for easing into the game. However, if you know what you're looking for (and that thing is orgasms), I'd probably keep looking.

Use

This is your pretty standard traditional vibe. It's intended to be inserted into the vagina for internal play, and does nothing in terms of external fun.

When you hold the sides to your vulva, the vibrations are so mild that it does very little to stimulate much of anything. When the pointed edge is placed on the clitoris, you feel a much stronger sensation. Unfortunately, that sensation is discomfort. You really still don't get much of a vibration and instead just get an uncomfortable poking sensation.

Because of the straight "rocket" design, it does almost nothing for the g-spot. All in all, this is a pretty lack-luster vibrator. If you're looking for a cheap a-typical vibrator, here it is. If you're like me, and you really need some focused attention on your clitoris or g-spot, you better keep on looking.

The price is pretty reflective of the quality, it's on the low-end of vibrators. This is a great purchase if you're brand new to the toy market and want to start out simple or as a gag-gift to a friend (or, who knows?, maybe a real gift.)

Material / Texture

The vibrator is made out of your standard plastic. It's pretty much exactly what comes to mind when you think "cheap vibrator". It's a rigid plastic material with no bend to it. There isn't much of a smell to it. Because it is such a basic smooth plastic material, it is extremely easy to clean. Just wipe it down with some soapy warm water. This is definitely a beginner's toy.
    • No odor
    • Not porous at all

Design / Shape / Size

While it's not the most discreet vibrator (people will certainly know exactly what it is upon seeing it), it's not that hard to hide away in the back of a drawer. It's a fairly average size, so there's no need to worry about being overwhelmed. The ridges do add a lot to the experience vs. a typical smooth vibrator. I think this vibe would be great if you were going by a car or train, but the TSA is going to be able to spot what this is immediately so I might stay away from plane travel if you're on the shy-side.

Functions / Performance / Controls

You can increase the strength of the vibrations at the base of the vibrator by simply turning the base. Personally, I felt the higher vibrations actually numbed my vagina more than they actually stimulated it. However, it was incredibly easy to adjust the levels while it was inserted. There was no need to stop and fuss with it. It's not the quietest toy, nor is it the loudest. In winter time you could get away with using it under 2 or 3 thicker blankets without someone hearing it, but in summer I'd advise maybe playing a little music. It's about on par with an electric shaver noise wise. It is water-proof, so you could definitely use it in the bathroom underwater without anyone being any the wiser.
    • Easy to use
    • Not enough variety
    • Not very discreet

Care and Maintenance

You could use either silicone or water-based lubes with this, although personally I always use water-based. Clean-up can be a simple run under the sink with some soapy water and patting it down. Although not the smallest vibe out there, the sleek design allows for it to be discretely hidden among nick-knacks and brick-a-brack quite easily. You wouldn't need to rearrange your closet for this. It's quite easy to use this internally and use a small finger/clitoral vibe to stimulate externally simultaneously.
    • Easy to clean
    • Easy to store

Packaging

As with most lower-end toys, it just comes in your basic plastic casing. You'll definitely need to find your own storage. The instructions are quite easy to follow if for no other reason than the basic, common-sense aspect of this vibrator. It's quite obvious that it's a vibrator in plastic packaging.

Personal comments

While not the greatest vibrator, it is a a good, cheap option for those new to the toy game or simply looking to add a basic, traditional vibrator to their collection.

Experience

I personally found it difficult to orgasm from the vibrations of this toy due to the lack of concentration in either the g-spot or clitoris. However, I did find that it functioned well as a dildo. By thrusting it in and out with the vibration on a medium level, it was a bit better than if it had just been a straight dildo.
Follow-up commentary
I was hoping that after some experiences with some REALLY bad vibrators, this would be great in comparison. Nope, it's still a lackluster vibrator. It just doesn't do it for me.
