Not very advanced.
Don't let the name fool you; this pump is no more advanced than any other. Would be great if you don't need a lot of stimulation to get off.Published: June 7, 2010
Pros:
Easy to use, great for beginners.
Cons:
Not very powerful.
If I was to rate the Advanced Clitoral Pump on a scale of 1 (not advanced) to 10 (extremely advanced) it would sit somewhere around -2. It's very easy to use, and definitely doesn't take a rocket scientist to teach you the ways of the pump.
The pump is pretty small. The main portion is around 7 inches, with about a foot of clear tubing connected to the handle. At the end of the tube is the pump portion, which looks a lot like a tiny grenade. It's covered in raised heart shapes, and is really cute. The plastic that this toy is made out of has glitter embedded in it. If you want a really cute toy, this is it!
In the box, you'll find the pump, two TPR silicone cups, and two spongey things. There's also an instruction manual. I was disappointed to find that the pump took AAA batteries. I have a plethora of AA's, but AAA's aren't something I usually buy. But I did have a couple lying around (thank goodness!) and popped them into the battery chamber. One of the TPR cups has little nubs on the inside, and the other is an open cup with nothing in it. These slip over the top of the pump and help provide stimulation, comfort, and suction.
The handle and shaft portion are separated by a flexible section. This area makes it very easy to hold the pump in place.
Now, about the sponges. The instructions state that you're supposed to put a sponge in between the head of the pump and the cup part when putting the cup on. It's meant to keep lube out of the vibrator. I've left the sponge out, because I haven't used any lube with this toy yet. I just haven't had a need. I feel that the sponge reduces the suction.
Like I said before, this toy is super simple to use. It can be a little difficult to position, but once you get it in place, you'll forget any troubles you had before. I feel that the suction could be a little more powerful. It really only takes one pump to "max out" your suction potential. The pump has a small quick release button, but I have yet to see it work properly. Luckily, it's very easy to just pop the head off your skin, and it doesn't hurt to do so.
The pump has three vibration speeds. They are controlled through one click style button. You have to cycle through all three speeds to turn the vibration off. The vibration could be a little stronger.
You could also use this pump as a nipple stimulator, though I can see it being a little awkward to position if you're using it with a partner.
As far as care and cleaning go, it's fairly simple. You remove the TPR cup and wash it thoroughly with soap and water, or a toy cleaner. Then in a bowl of water, you dip the head portion of the toy in and clean it without running water on it. (There is an opening from the head of the toy down into the vibrator, so you need to avoid having water get in there.)
If you need to use a lube, definitely use a water based one. I wouldn't take this into the shower or bath, due to the open areas in the design. You could get water in the battery chamber and ruin the device.

Clitoral Suction
-
I came across these suction toys recently and I am intrigued by them. The idea sounds wonderful, I'm just worried that it's more gimick than anything else. Has anyone used a clit pump, and if so, how did you like it? Are there any that you would recommend to a first time clit pump buyer?

I have yet to find a clitoral pump that actually provided continuous, consistent suction. :/

You probably can't figure out which (if any) might be suited to you by reading the reviews.
