Mia 2 - discreet vibrator by LELO - review by firecracker21

I was extremely excited to try out this new vibe, because I love Lelo's products and because I loved the look and feel of this vibe right out of the package. She was everything I hoped for!

It charges with it's attached USB port, so you can take her anywhere and keep it charged up.

It is probably best suited for clit stimulation, but it's shape and size allow all kinds of uses on both genders. The only thing it's not good for is anal; it's material makes it lovely and smooth, but without a base, all of that smoothness could be a detriment for anal play.

Because it is extremely quiet, small and discreet, it's great for travel, close quarters, showers, and public play.

The Mia 2 is soft, smooth, and glossy to the eyes and the touch. It feels like quality all the way around, which has been my experience with Lelo toys in general.

Made from ABS plastic and phthalate-free silicone, the Mia 2 is really safe for your body and easy to care for and clean. She is smell and taste-free, which rocks. It can get slippery, if you're using lube, so be sure not to use too much or you're likely to send her flying. Designed to be discreet and pretty, the Mia 2 is a dark purple shade, in a shape that looks sort of like lipstick.

This baby isn't the tiniest vibe I've ever used, but she might be the lightest. She doesn't seem to weigh anything, which is both good and bad. On one hand, she's easy to manever and angle. On the other, she can easily lose her place or get lost, because it's almost like you're holding onto nothing.

About the size (and appearance) of a tube of mascara, the Mia is incredibly discreet. Someone would have to really know what they were looking for, to pick it out from among a bunch of makeup options. Just over four inches long and about an inch in diameter, she fits easily into the palm and doesn't get in the way of sex, if you're looking for a little extra stimulation. Because she's so lightweight and easily disguised, she's kind of the perfect travel toy.

The shape is like that of most compact and bullet toys, with a rounded off end on the main vibratory side. The other side (which is useable, but has less vibration strength) is slanted, like the end of lipstick. I found the shape to be fine, although the light weight and the perfect roundness of it, made it a bit slippery and difficult to get it to stay in the perfect spot.

The We-Vibe Salsa has long been my favorite go-to compact vibe. In fact, nothing has even come close to it. Until now.

The Mia 2 isn't better (for me) than the Salsa, but it's a close second, and that's saying a lot.

Waterproof: I put the Salsa through a wash cycle in my washing machine and it still works great. I'd say that wins, but the Mia is waterproof as well.

So, all in all, a pretty close race. The Mia 2 just isn't quite strong enough in the power category to unseat the Salsa. She's also a bit harder to use. You can find the + and - buttons, while in the middle of play, but it's difficult to know which one you're pushing and how far you need to go. I kept accidentally turning it down too far, when I was trying to change the vibration patterns instead.

One complaint I do have (and it's not much of a complaint), is that when you charge the vibe with the USB port, there is no place to put the cap. It doesn't stay on the end (like a pen cap would) and the chances of it getting lost are high. So make sure that when you charge your toy, you know exactly where the end is.

This toy is non-porous and waterproof, so a simple wash with hot water and soap makes clean up easy. It comes with a little bag to store it in, but I actually think it's more discreet without the cover up. Because the outer material is so hard, I can't imagine that this toy would be easily broken or marred. She can be tossed into makeup bags, jewelry bags, and drawers without too much of a worry.

It came with instructions, but there was no need to use them, because it was very self explanatory.

I had a wonderful time using this ever so wonderful toy! Both me and my partner enjoyed using it on each other. My money was very well spent!
