Fly micro vibe - vibrator by Fun Factory - review by Aerofaerie

The Fly is beautifully designed. I ordered it in blue and the color, coupled with the ridges of the flowers, is very nice to look at---and also doesn't make the Fly stand up and scream "I'm a vibrator!" It's small and quiet, so it's ideal for those that need something to take with them on a trip or to visit out of town family and don't want to bring along their whole stash of toys. Just take the batteries out before dropping it in a bag, because the button could easily be pressed inadvertently.

The Fly is a mini vibe so it only has about a 3.5 insertable length. That makes the Fly good for teasing the vaginal opening and just inside, though I mostly used it for clit stimulation. Obviously the fly would not be a candidate for anal insertion as it has no flared base, though it could be used to tease the outside in a pinch. For the most part the fly is like a large squishy bullet, though the sleeve gives the vibrations a different feeling to them than the buzzy vibrations of a traditional bullet and is certainly not as strong. For some people this is a good thing, for others, not so much.

I had a few issues with the fly, the namely being that it is a watch battery vibe and as it is with all watch battery toys the battery dies all too quickly, which can get annoying. There is nothing quite like getting almost there, seconds from that "Ah!" moment when your toy just putters to a stop. This of course can happen with all vibrators, but it is much more likely to happen with a watch battery vibe… and more often as well.


I also had a minor issue with the velvety texture of the sleeve as it catches lint and dust quite easily, and that same texture makes removing the bullet to sterilize the sleeve difficult as well. Again though, this is minor.
