The SinFive Eve is a gorgeous piece. Hang it on your wall, keep it on your mantlepiece. Did we mention it's also a sex toy? It houses a solid bullet that'll pleasure you wherever you feel it necessary.

Pros:
Price point, solid bullet, vibrations all around the leaf, artistic design, gorgeous packaging.
Cons:
Bullet wasn't that strong, hard to find use for it past foreplay and solo play, not waterproof.

Use

The SinFive Eve is a vibrator/discreet massager which my partner and I have had the pleasure of reviewing.

Like most bullet-oriented toys, it's a great clitoral massager. It's also great for playing with nipples, testicles, and other erogenous zones around the body. We had a lot of fun trailing it along her curves. A minor point with this is that because it's within a "leaf" we couldn't access the full bullet unless we removed it from the leaf enclosure. However (not all is lost!) the vibrations travel pretty well from the bullet to the leaf so we managed to use that pretty well.

Material / Texture

The SinFive Eve is made of a relatively rigid "elastomer". I would describe it as a generally rigid but bendable polymer that is smooth, almost velvet-like, and not very porous. It is shaped like a leaf with hard-edged contours that create smooth "plates". On the bottom of the tip of the leaf there is a little ribbed enclosure, in which is stowed a plastic bullet that runs on watch batteries. It smelled lightly of new rubber but after a while that rubbed off. There is no taste. The ribbed texture did add stimulation but we found that it was a little hard-edged, so be careful if you have extra sensitive parts.

Design / Shape / Size

The design of this toy is beautiful! It's modern art in a sense. SinFive made an artistically interesting choice when they decided to push the design envelope on the leaf itself. Its interesting ridges definitely make it a piece of art. I'm a design major and I found myself staring at it wondering how it could be a sex toy. A golden point about that is that it's super easy to hide in plain sight. You could hang it on a wall if you want; just put a little museum tag under it and no one will ever know. It's suitable for travel because it's small, as long as it doesn't turn on mid-flight or something in the suitcase; that's a scenario no one wants to be in.

Functions / Performance / Controls

This toy performs pretty well. The bullet is very quiet and decently strong, although not as strong as the Jimmyjane Iconic Bullet, nor the Armor Piercing Bullet from Evolved. It's definitely solid and functions perfectly the way it did when we first bought it. It only has one setting, but it's a fairly strong setting. For its size it's an incredible bullet. The vibrations do travel throughout the entire leaf if you keep it snugly in the enclosure so you can use the area of the rest of the leaf to play as well. It's not waterproof, so take care with it.

The batteries that came with this thing lasted quite a while, but they do eventually need to be replaced. They are standard watch batteries.

Care and Maintenance

The bullet can be gently wiped down with Eden toy wipes, or just lightly moist (but not totally drenched!) tissue. The leaf can be washed with warm water and soap or wiped down as well. Make sure both are totally dry before running the toy again. Keep it in a cool and dry place for the most part (anything that's not a furnace and not an ocean should be okay) and use water-based lubes with it (just to be safe).

Packaging

The packaging for this toy was beautiful. It came in a large plastic box-type shell (not clamshell, that's annoying). Inside the plastic box shell you find a gorgeous cardboard insert that houses the leaf and the bullet (packed into a small hole in the corner). The back of the cardboard has instructions and information regarding use of the toy and the entire thing comes out of the plastic bit rather easily. It's a beautiful gift box overall and can be used to store the toy over and over again.

Personal comments

This was a great toy for beginners as it doesn't have a steep learning curve. Turn the bullet on, insert it into the leaf, and play on. The switch is also accessible from inside the leaf enclosure.

Experience

We had a lot of fun with the Eve. It had great foreplay potential but not more than that, due to the strength of the bullet.
Follow-up commentary
Still a pretty big fan of this one. It's not gotten as much use lately as it did when we first got it, simply because we have stronger bullet toys, but it's still a beautiful piece. We'll just have to find new, fun uses for this one.

Great review. I contemplated getting this but I chose some other things instead. This is certainly still on my wishlist since it is such a discreet design and it is downright pretty. I just hate watch batteries though!

    • So I'm going to actually make this thread worth while....

      I got the eve the other day and finally had the chance to try it out last night... AMAZING! It's not the strongest or quietest thing ever, but the shape is just so cool. The main part of the leaf at the top kinda feels like a tongue when used upside down on the labia and clit area and the very very tip can be used for pinpoint stimulation. AND the vibrations travel so good all over the leaf, even to the very end of the stem.

      Anyways... Review will be coming soon :) Just thought I'd let everyone know how awesome this leaf is. (inlove)

      i totally agree with you.for some reason the brighter colored toys always get my attention.
