I was really excited about this toy when it arrived on my doorstep. Living in Japan, I can say that the toy variety around here is pretty dismal, so I was happy to have a new toy from back home.

Two AA batteries and a good cleaning later, I was ready to use it. The toy material is hard plastic, so water-based lubes work well with it, and you'll need a good bit of lube if you want to insert it. Using the toy is fairly straight forward; there is an On/Off button that you press to turn it on, and then you can choose between five speeds with the "Speed" button at the top. There is a glowing light that says "5 Speeds" to let you know if the toy is on or not. The controls are detached a bit from the toy with a thin cord, so be sure to clean that cord as well. This cord is long enough if you tend to keep your hands (and thus the controls) close by, but don't plan to set it off somewhere, or else you might tangle it a bit. I did roll over on them once or twice, which stopped the vibrator, and I had to set the speed all over again. You can only go up on the speeds; there is no way to get from speed four back down to speed two without scrolling through all the speeds again, but I didn't find this to be much of a problem.

The lowest setting isn't something to brag home about, though if you like building up the pressure and the tension, it's great for that. Even on the lowest setting, if you don't insert the toy, it's fairly loud. A blanket on top doesn't do much to muffle the sound either.

Using the toy itself is also quite easy. Though it is obviously made for insertion, I prefer using it as a direct clitoral stimulator. The high setting is pretty powerful for such a small toy, and though it's loud, it's well worth it. However, inserting it didn't do as much for me overall. After applying the lube and inserting it, I found it was still rather louder than I'd like. Furthermore, it was a bit difficult to adjust. The handle is slim so that you can grab it with your fingers and adjust it as needed, but I wish it were a bit longer. I found I had to insert my fingers inside my vagina a bit to really get a handle on the toy, and pulling it out afterward required that I pull on the cord to get it started, which you shouldn't do, lest you detach the cord from the toy.

Once the toy was inserted, I did wish the vibrations were a bit stronger. Direct contact with my clitoris was wonderful, but inserted I needed a bit more to get off. I eventually had to use another clitoral stimulator to come to a satisfying completion. The strength is probably good for someone who needs something a bit gentler, or someone trying something new with insertion.
