When I saw the Panty Pal, I bought it almost immediately. I was so excited about a bullet that I could clip onto my panties. I had been looking for a good hands-free vibe, and the price was right on this one. When it came in the mail, I was pretty excited. Then again, I'm excited every time I get a new toy in the mail. Of the 3 designs, I chose the pink butterfly for my attachment. The actual vibrator itself is a bullet. The bullet itself is covered in a jelly casing, but it has a hole for the large magnet that protrudes from the bullet. The butterfly piece fits perfectly and securely on the magnet, which makes you think it will work well.

The Panty Pal comes in a small cardboard box with 2 sets of batteries. In order to insert the batteries, you have to take the small jelly cover off of the bullet and put them in. It's pretty easy, but it would be pretty hard to find these batteries in a store, I would imagine. They're small cell batteries, kind of like the ones you use for a hearing aid. Because it is covered with a jelly-like material, this vibe is very easy to clean. Warm water and soap easily does the trick, or a spray or two of toy cleaner.

This vibrator is great in theory, the magnet being the main attraction. It has a smooth, soft design that is visually appealing, and the magnet is pretty strong which is the main feature of the toy. I like the idea of having a little butterfly on my panties while secretly actually having a vibrator right up against my clit. One of the main draws of this toy is that it can be used in public.

Once I had put the batteries in, I pulled the little pink butterfly off the the bullet (they are attached by a relatively strong magnet). Once clipped onto my panties, the magnet stayed in place very well. It's actually very hard to slide it anywhere to readjust. You have to un-clip and re-clip it to change the position. Once I had it in just the right spot, I pushed the button to turn it on. That's when the disappointment began. It was incredibly loud. Like, louder than my rabbit vibrator that takes 4 AA batteries. I decided to give it a shot despite the noise level...and I was disappointed again. Every time I got a good position with the bullet, it would slip out of place. I basically had to sit on it to get it right. While this is hands-free, it's not easy to maneuver. I was only mildly aroused after like 15 minutes of wrestling with the thing. Normally I would have already had at least 2 orgasms. I gave up trying to use it at about the 20 minute mark. The vibrations were too weak to really get me going. It made a strange, high pitched buzzing noise that cramped my style, and I could not get it to stay in the right place.

Since then I've tried it a couple of times and had the same results. Now it sits in my toy box all by itself. I haven't even needed the second set of batteries. This toy was a huge flop for me. I doubt that it would get off even the most sensitive of women. Even if they were turned on, the noise is such a huge turn-off that it can probably completely derail an impending orgasm. Basically, this toy isn't even worth trying to use as a plain bullet, let alone as a Panty Pal. I definitely will never use it in public, and I certainly wouldn't recommend that anyone else try it. Even at a rock concert people would wonder what the high pitched buzzing sound was and probably look at you a little funny.

This thing sucks. It's in the bottom of my toy box and probably not coming out until I throw it away. Super disappointed. DON'T BUY IT.
