Perfect First Vibrator
Excellent vibrator for first timer users; however expect to replace it with in 2-4 months for a more durable and powerful toy.

This is the perfect vibrator for beginners. It is simple to use, enjoy and cleaning is a breeze. With a 1" diameter the size is great allowing the first time vibrator user to ease in to the toy experience with out feeling like she is getting ripped apart. It is also a great toy for a man to learn how to use on his lady. This can be a very tricky thing to do but once the positions and depth get figured out great things happen.
The jelly material is great and preferred by us as it is not hard which gives it a more comfortable feeling. Just make sure to use plenty of water or silicone based lube. Jelly vibrators can become very uncomfortable when they dry out so keep the lube close. They say that this one is waterproof however we never tried it in the shower. Just washing the toy after enjoying it produced some water in the battery casing. During the two months of frequent use the batteries never had to be replaced.
The noise level is extremely low which makes it more enjoyable as you don't have to yell out those dirty words to each other. This is a major benefit when there are kids in the house; that could be very embarrassing!
There are only two downsides to this vibrator (1) it could have been more powerful, and (2) it only lasted 2 months. The end cap which controls the vibration and holds in the batteries broke. On the up side it gave us a reason to try more vibrators!
Overall a great toy that is well worth the price. For the experienced toy user; there is no reason to purchase this vibrator as you can find other ones that are much more enjoyable and offer many more vibration speeds.

The title you chose seems to perfectly sum up your review. Do you think it is possible that you may have received a defective toy considering you stated having problems with it not being waterproof, and then eventually having the cap break? Did the Climax Gem have a rubber o-ring under the cap to create a water-tight seal? Thank! -
The specs don't list it as being Phthalates free, so even though it might dull the effect of the (admittedly delicious-looking) nubs, I'd suggest covering it with a condom during use. -
I wonder if the cap would be interchangeable with that of another vibe? Glad you enjoyed it, even if it wasn't forever. -
