Petals Review
Not a bad little toy, if you're not as advanced or experienced with toys. Cute gift for bachelorette gifts. Otherwise, a waste of moneyPublished: January 27, 2012

I hate giving bad reviews on toys or products in general. However, I have really nothing good to say about this toy. The "Petals" toy is made of a TPR material. It measures about 4 1/2 inches with only about 3 3/4 inches insertable. The petals at the base of this toy flare outward, providing stimulation to the lips and clitoris. Or, its supposed to anyways. It takes 1 AAA battery. Which I found was not enough power to do much at all.
I could barely feel any vibration from this toy, the insertion length was way too little and the petals sat very awkwardly on me. The tip of Petals is nubbed/textured. There are small veins that run alone the petals as well, for added stimulation to the lips and clitoris. It has multiple speeds and vibrates. There is a small push button at the bottom of this toy, which made it super awkward trying to click it while inserted.
I guess the only two good things that I could say about this toy is that its compact and easily portable so this makes it very discreet. Also, it is waterproof, which can make for some fun times in the tub/shower or hot tub. May be nice for a nipple stimulator? You can slip this into any purse, large wallet, pocket or small bag (among other things).
The Petals would be great for a Bridal gift, bachelorette party gift (or gag gift). Other than that, I can't see any use for this. It gave just enough power to my clitoris that it was able to "do the job". Still though, I prefer something with a little more power.

Because I had such a bad go with this toy in the beginning, I gave it one last go. Still though, I found that it wasn't going to do much of anything. Luckily, I wasn't out a ton of money. It just wasn't the toy for me I suppose.

Decent review but it could use more information. For example, what kind of lubes are compatible with this?
I used my basic water based lubricants with this. I don't have any silicone lube right now, but that is also ok to use with it.
So it sort of works like a TPR coated mini-finger vibrator? The petals are essentially worthless though? Thanks for the review.
They aren't "useless" per se, but I didn't care for them. For ME they were useless lol. But I have been dealing with toys of all speeds and strengths for about 12 years now. It had some vibration, but it was an overall disappointment in that deptartment. The petals fit somewhat funny on me. It cold just be that maybe its mean for a smaller person? Larger? The sensations just weren't what I was hoping for i guess its a shame cause its cute as all get out LOL

Had this on my wishlist mainly because I love the look of this but with it only taking one AAA I had a feeling it would be too weak. As a fan of smaller toys I might still get it even if just for insertion.

llellsee...I would say that they are comfortable yes. They aren't rough or ridgid or anything like that.
