Pink = Sexy fun
It's perfect for me. I have a hard time getting wet at times. This helps me. It has an easy to hide bottle.Published: March 20, 2011
Pros:
Easy to use, no smell
Cons:
Can be a bit tricky
This is absolutely one of the better lubes I've used. Granted, this is my first experience with silicone based lube, so I can only compare it to the many types of water-based ones that I've used. It's non-irritating (and I'm sensitive to a lot of lubes) and stays there for the long haul, so you don't have to keep stopping to reapply. The glass bottle is rather discreet, so you don't need to panic if you accidentally leave it on the dresser when your mom is coming over. The pump dispenser is an extra bonus for one handed application, and it works equally well with sex toys.
The only reason that I am giving four stars over five is that it is a little tricky to figure out how much you need. The first time I used it I used too little and thought it sucked. Then I figured out how much I needed (less than water-based, but more than the two drops they recommend), and I fell in love with it. However, I did over do it once. Basically I was *so* wet that I almost couldn't feel what was going on. Because this is a silicone-based lubricant, it’s for toys that ARE NOT silicone. If you don’t know already, using silicone lube on a silicone toy can degrade or melt the toy. The bonding of the lube and silicone in the toy can cause small holes and imperfections which makes it a bacteria nest, and then the toy is no good anymore.
Pink contains Vitamin E and Aloe Vera to make your skin soft and silky smooth. The other plus side to this silicone based lubricant is that it's paraben free, condom safe, glycerin free, and it’s hypo-allergenic. Some people state that they have a problem with the Cyclomethicone in this product and that it’s not safe, but I have done some reading, and all I can find is that it is an ingredient that makes it easily spreadable. This makes it work as a water repellent. There is NO DANGER with this ingredient.

Whats the safest lubes to use? Water-based, silicone?
-
Try a simple plain water based one if you are unsure of how you would react.

What toys are not safe with silicone lubes?

Venus FableI heard that certain lubes can't be used with certain toys. Can someone tell me how this works? -
Quote: I heard that certain lubes can't be used with certain toys. Can someone tell me how this works?Hi Venus - basically, silicone lube and silicone toys are not compatible because they react with one another (silicone may also leave stains on bedsheets and upholstery), but water-based lubricant is fine with any material and usually won't stain anything.
Why would anyone use silicone-based then, you might ask. Silicone-based tends to last longer and not dissolve in water (great for a jacuzzi quickie), whereas water-based is easily washed away or absorbed, which means it won't be as effective as silicone-based over long sessions. Silicone-based also has a nice silky feel, which some people prefer.
Hope this helps! -
Other considerations: Silicone lube should not be used with cyberskin or jelly toys, either, as it will melt them. When using lube with condoms or anything containing latex, avoid lube with any kind of oil.
Basically, it's a good idea to stick to water-based lube for use with any kind of toys!

Thank you for viewing Pink – lubricant review page!

I want to rate this review as useful, however I think you have some organization issues that are keeping this review from flowing. Next time try spacing out your ideas more and beefing those up. For example, the second paragraph could easily have been split into two: one about how much product is needed and another about what toys are safe/unsafe to use with silicone lubricants.
Thanks for the review.
