Pjur woman - silicone based lube by Pjur® - review by Wookin-Pa-Nub

This lubricant can be used vaginally in just about any situation weather it be toy play or the real thing. As far as anal use goes, I would say that something a little thicker would be better but it's certainly better than nothing. Keep in mind that Pjur woman is silicone based just like Pjur original so it should not be used with toys made of silicone. It could also be used as massage oil, however it's a little pricey for that. One great feature with this lube, along with all of the other Pjur lubricants, is that it has never created any kind of irritation. Therefore, if your sensitive to personal lubricants you might want to give this one a try.

Unfortunately, the thickness and viscosity of this lubricant is just not thick enough to provide really good lubrication. Since it's so thin it acts more like massage oil than a personal lubricant. Don't get me wrong, it works as a personal lubricant, just not as good as Pjur original. The nice thing about the silicone base is that it will never get sticky and it will leave your skin nice and smooth, almost like a moisturizer. Keep in mind that with such a light lubricant it will tend to run and pour quickly. This can be a little dangerous if you tip the bottle over without the cap on. This also means that it will not stay in place unless you rub it in. Happy rubbing!

There is really no taste or aroma that's of significant mention. It will leave a kind of greasy texture in your mouth, but not a bad taste. It has a very slight scent, but nothing that really reminds me of anything. I'm not a big fan of flavored lubricants, they always taste like flavored envelopes to me. Therefore, it's nice to have a lube that's much more subtle.

Pjur woman just doesn't perform as good as we expected. The thinner texture doesn't provide that slippery sensation that we enjoy. It will not dry out quickly and therefore does not require repeated applications, which is a good thing. Another good feature that seems to be a trend with silicone based lubricants is that it isn't as cold as water based lubricants when you first apply it.

For some of you, a cool sensation might be your thing, but not me. Pjur woman is pitched as though it works well for women who are sensitive to personal lubricants, which is true. However, I think that Pjur original is just as vaginal friendly and works much better. The performance for anal use could be better also. It's just too thin to create much of a lubricated barrier when used in "tight" spaces. It's a pain to have to be using two different lubes during the heat of the moment, therefore I recommend something that gives you a little more "range" of play.

The bottle of Pjur woman is very simple, discreet and could be traveled with without any problem. It can be a little hard to get the cap on and off if your hands are slippery and the contents can leak out if the bottle is knocked over without the cap on. Overall this is pretty nit picky and for the most part the packaging is very practical.
