Plastic Pleasure Petals

NMC did a pretty good job with this vibe aside from the loose battery compartment making that loud rattling noise once in a while. Luckily it's a decent price, and it was a free gift with my last order so it gave me something new to try. A lot of the time when I get the free gifts they are something I wouldn't normally use or buy, and it opens me up to new experiences. Pun intended.

extremely useful review
Pleasure Petals is a traditional vibrator with a lovely flower design embossed on its shaft. This vibe is an excellent choice for any woman to add to her arsenal. It is great for pinpoint clitoral stimulation, and works well for thrusting. I do not recommend it for anal (at least not beginners) due to the lack of a flared base.

*Design/Material*

This vibe is 7" long with a diameter of 1 1/4", making it friendly for a wide variety of women. It's made of soft velvety plastic and has a good texture that aids in stimulation. This texture consists of a series of raised bumps in the pattern of flowers all along the shaft.

Plastic is a fairly safe material, rating an 8/10 on Eden's material safety page. It can be cleaned with soap and warm water or toy wipes. This toy is non porous and phthalate free so it can be shared (condoms are still recommended).

It's also easy to store seeing that you don't have to worry about it absorbing any funky bacteria. You can store this anywhere you want to (unless discretion is an issue, it's pretty obvious what this is), and you can use any kind of lube with it as well.

Although this is quite compatible with things, it is not waterproof or splashproof so care should be taken when cleaning this. Be sure to keep the cap off and let the whole vibe air out before putting batteries back in again to make sure they don't rust and corrode.

*Functions/Performance*

A twist cap powers this vibe which takes 2 C batteries. Just turn the dial to the right to adjust the speed to your liking. Now this thing is pretty powerful for its size. I don't care for C batteries just because they are a pain in the ass to buy and they die easily, but it is well worth the hassle for this vibe. The pointed tip doubled with its power make this a fantastic clitoral stimulator.

I don't care for that pointy tip while thrusting, though. It is just a bit too pointy for my taste as I like a bit of pressure on my g spot, and this is more like poking my g spot with a pen. It still gives a different sensation than what I'm used to, and so it works for when I feel like something different.

The noise level matches its power. This thing can get pretty loud. It can be heard through covers, and most likely through a closed door, but the plus is that it kind of sounds like an electric razor. It can give off a rattling sound as if the battery compartment is cheap and loose.

WOW that sucks! Good thing that is only battery powered, imagine if that was plugged into a wall. That tab sticking out should be bent over the edge so that it is on the outside. Looks like it is to long as well. I guess it is good it was free, eh?

Yes sir, I take it you got to see the video before they pulled it then?!

I was a little bummed because I think it's funny as hell, but I can understand how it would keep people from buying it. One defect doesn't necessarily mean them all.. lol

  • Is there
    • Is there really a reason for the design on the side besides just for looks?

no, there isn't. Just a marketing thing to make it somehow different from the other 7 billion traditional vibes out there,
