Playful curve - g-spot vibrator by Cal Exotics - review by kjkitty

The curved end of the playful curve should be perfect for g-spot and clitoral stimulation, but for me it did not work for either. The toy is just too curved to fit to my clit, and the curved end just claws at my insides during use. I think this toy is better for women who are very familiar with where their g-spot is and have used a toy like this before. One thing I did like about this toy, however, was that the smooth finish and "whimsical" design reminded me of very high-end toys. I felt like I was getting something expensive for a very moderate price tag, and I think other women will enjoy that as well. For women who do not want something to stimulate their g-spot, I would not recommend this toy. I was able to use the back part of the curved end to stimulate my nipples, body, and clit, but it is not as effective as a toy designed for that purpose.

The 9 Function playful curve is made of PU coated plastic, so it is phthalates free and is non-porous (however, it can still cling to bacteria so make sure to wash it carefully.) In your hand it feels very smooth and extremely hard. There is nothing soft or bendy about this toy. There is no drag on the skin or the genitals, so very little lube is necessary for play. I personally loved the feel of this toy in my hand, but I think that personally I liked my toys that were made out of a little softer, less rigid material on my genitals. There was a VERY light plastic smells when I first got the toy, but now it just smells faintly of the soap I use to clean it, which is a great scent..

I was pretty excited when I got this toy because it has that kind of "free-form" design like top-end toys. It is designed with a curve at the head to stimulate the g-spot, but this toy did not hit mine. When inserting, the curve of this toy just felt like it was clawing at my insides. It was not quite painful, but definitely very uncomfortable. I would never use this toy for thrusting for that reason. It also was too curved to hit my clit. Instead of fitting perfectly to my curves, it just hovered over them a little bit. It was not even a tease, just annoying. There is no texture to this toy, but to me that is not a drawback unless you really want a lot of texture on your toy. It is fairly small in size, except for a "lump" in the middle of the toy, which I imagine is there to give it some girth to the toy. It probably will not be enough for size queens, but for the average user it is a good size. Personally, the larger sized area did not do much for me, but I also did not use the toy for thrusting at all, so once I inserted it fully, the lump was not doing much for me.

The vibrations are located near the head of the product, making it very strong during use. I felt my whole body buzzing when I used it. It is powered by a push-button control located on the bottom of the vibrator that is very easy to use. The battery compartment is super easy to take on and off as it is a twist-off compartment that locks into place. This also makes the toy waterproof! Finally, although the playful curve does not necessarily look like a sex toy, I am not sure what else you could try to pawn it off as.

6. three short followed by one long buzz

Some of the pulsations might be stronger than others or might build up, but that was undetectable with me. For the most part I left it on the three basic settings because the toy is so loud that the pulsations were extremely distracting to me, especially when the toy started getting "buzzy." It is designed to stimulate the g-spot, but personally did not hit mine and just felt like it was clawing at my insides. It is also extremely noisy. At the higher levels it also gets very "buzzy" like there is a loose part moving around inside the toy. This kind of makes me wonder how well built it is and if it is going to stop working on me soon. It may not, but it feels a little cheap. It is controlled by a push button on the bottom of the toy, but there is no automatic off button. It is incredibly annoying to have to cycle through nine different functions just to turn my toy off. Plus, I often think that "off" is just a "pause" between vibrations on a pulsation level, so I skip it completely. Needless to say, sometimes it takes a while to turn it off.

This toy is extremely easy to clean because you can just use soap and water and the whole toy is easily scrubbed. It should be scrubbed well though, because it can cling to bacteria. I personally did not submerge my toy during cleaning, but I did hold it under the stream of water without worrying I would damage it at all. It does not pick up lint and will not damage your other toys, but I still store mine in the original packaging it came with. I would not say that this toy has any particular smell, although mine now smells faintly of the soap I use to clean it which is actually pretty nice. You can use both water or silicone based lube, although personally I use water-based.

I like the packaging that this product came in. It was tasteful, pretty, and nice for storage. There are butterflies on the packaging as well as an attractive looking woman in a sexy dress. It is sultry without being over the top XXX. There was some basic information about the toy, like that it is waterproof and takes AAA batteries, as well as some basic selling points, like the smooth finish and nine functions of play. It is plastic that kind of "snaps" closed so is very good to continue to store the toy in.

Even though I am not crazy about this toy, I will probably continue to use it occasionally with other toys because of the strong vibrations and multiple patterns. This toy does not get me off on its own, and I will never use it for thrusting, but it is a nice toy for the price. Unfortunately it just does not fit the curves of my body. If you enjoy toys like this, I would definitely recommend it because the feature it has for the price is great.
