Although many women have badmouthed ben-wa balls as 'doing nothing', I have to say I can't agree. At first, putting in the balls (which was very easy; I used no lube other than my own natural lubrication) was super exciting and I was waiting to see what would happen! They also travel very well; since they come in a nice little box, you can pop them anywhere (even in your purse) and carry them with you.

Although not a toy made for straight-up masturbation, Ben-Wa balls do an amazing job for what they're intended to do. I noticed a definite difference in my vaginal muscles and general tightness after just a few uses.

The only thing I didn't like was the difficulty of removal. It was uncomfortable to have to reach inside that far in order to pull the ball down to the point where I could push it out, and it was stressful and a little frightening.

All that's needed to take care of these is a little soap and hot water! Since the glass is slick enough, you don't need more than a little lube to put them in, and they rinse off very easily and are extremely durable. They come in their own cute little box, which is very subtle and even if they're found, it's almost impossible to tell what they're used for. The little flowers inside give an even more subtle touch.

When I got mine, they were very subtly packaged (plain brown box) with nothing but some normal shipping info on the front. I've used the box to sell artwork and there was no sign of where it came from or what they were used for inside or outside of the box.

There were instructions included, but they aren't really necessary. Ben-Wa balls are fairly straightforward!

I would NOT recommend Ben-Wa balls for people who are already very tight. I also have to warn everyone; do NOT try to use these anally! This should be obvious, but because they can get stuck in the anus and not in the vagina, you should never use anything anally that does not have a string you can leave externally available to pull them out.

My boyfriend noticed my new flexibility very quickly, and was very impressed. ;) I was tighter and I did feel a significantly greater amount of pleasure from having used the balls.
