Pretty in Pink but not for me

The vibration just wasn't there, it left me hanging. I had to really work to hold the bulb in place just to try to get any stimulation on my gspot which was uncomfortable. It left me horny and needing a massage.

Use

This is a gspot and a clitoral stimulator. However because of the way I am built, with a tilted uterus and short arms it made this product just not want to work for me. The gspot stimulator would stimulate the back wall of my vagina and unless I held it in place with my fingers, which can be uncomfortable if you have any back issues, it just didn't want to stay toward the gspot. The clitoral stimulator was short and I had to hold it in place to stimulate my clitoris. All in all it was a lot of work and might as well get a man for that amount of work.
It is water proof so it would be a good toy to have in the bubble bath.
This toy requires 2 AAA batteries. There were three push button functions, they were solid vibration of semi soft, harder and what this would consider it's hardest. The button is located in the end of the toy for easy access.
It comes in a few colors, blue or pink, I got the pink as that is my favorite color.

Material / Texture

This toy is a jelly material and is soft and smooth to the touch. It is incredibly bendy and has no stiffness to it at all. The clitoral stimulator is ridged on the butterfly for what appears to be extra stimulation not that I noticed but they were there and were pretty.
It does attract lint so be careful while storing and make sure to clean well before and after use. It is porous therefore whatever you do do NOT share this toy, it will collect bacteria. Make sure to store it away from other toys as it will become damaged with other jelly toys, store it in a jelly safe bag. Make sure to not use oil lubricant use water or silicone based only. It doesn't have any odor.

Design / Shape / Size

This toy is designed for gspot and clitoral stimulation at the same time however as I mentioned before it just didn't work for me. It is 3 1/2 inches of insertable length and it isn't very large around for those of us that are smaller. The vibrations were ok they just weren't wonderful, it took some doing and got me up to that spot, but just wasn't enough to carry me over into the promised land so to speak. I think it could also work as a great beginner toy, because the size isn't intimidating and the vibrations are decently strong, but comfortable.

Functions / Performance / Controls

It has three functions, they are all solid vibrations. There are soft to hard none that rocked my world. The button is in the end of the toy. The vibrations do go through the end of the bulb very well which is an interesting feeling on the back wall of your vagina. Jelly carries vibrations extremely well so the vibrations really can be felt throughout the toy. It isn't a very loud vibrator, however I wouldn't use it in the room with anyone else if you think you are going to be sneaky, they will hear it.

This toy does not seem to guzzle batteries, but it only takes two small batteries, so the vibrations are a reflection on that.
    • Discreet sound
    • Easy to use

Care and Maintenance

This toy is porous because it is jelly therefore make sure you clean it before and after you use it. It will collect lent from storage. I personally use a toy cleaner however you can use mild soap and water. IF you decide you must share this toy please make sure to use a condom because this will collect bacteria.
Don't store this with other toys, make sure to store in a separate jelly safe bag. I find it is fairly easy to take care of, though jelly can be a high maintenance material due to the porous nature.
    • High maintenance

Packaging

This toy just came in a clear plastic bag. There was no information pamphlet or instructions, this toy is fairly self explanatory though. The bag wouldn't be good for storage, because you would have to rip the bag to open the toy. It is not discreet, as you can see the toy through the packaging.
    • Minimal

Experience

I tried the toy several ways. I have a tilted uterus and I just couldn't get the gspot without inserting fingers to hold the bulb in place. Because of a back injury this seemed uncomfortable and because the vibrations weren't that strong even on it's highest settings I could tell I would be pretty much stuck there like that for a long period of time. It seemed like it would be a good toy but just wasn't the toy for me.

Sorry this one did not work out for you. I am not a fan of the "jelly" products myself, or pink for that matter. Hope you continue the search for the one that is for you.

  • Blue more expensive?
    • Anyone know why the blue is more expensive than the pink? They're the same, right? So why is one more expensive?
    • I've never noticed.

  • i have experiment attraction to women,,, i´m bicurious?
    • hi my name is yesenia paris,, and i´m 22 but since i was in high school i kind of have curiosity for girls,, i never like really kiss a girl or anything or i never had any female friend to experiment that, like i am very shy person and also like a lonely girl,, althought i am a very pleasant person and i good human being ,, noone seens to like me,,, but although of that matter i still feel the curiosity may because i have never been with a girl before
does that make a bisexual,a bicurious,of it just because the loneliness or the lock of friends,, like i never have a real
girl friend ,, like it´s samething that happens with boys,, you are not friends with them ,, but you like them in a different way,,, i always thing it´s because my loneliness
and the need of an another ,, girl being friends with me i also don´t have a mom to call and talk about my problems maybe it´s because of that the confusion thanks have a nice day
    • Someone made a similar post a while back, and I'll basically tell you what we told her. Don't follow stereotypes. Don't label yourself. If you are interested in girls, then you just are. If you haven't experimented with girls, personally I feel that when I liked someone it isn't based on any particular factor, it is based on the person themselves. I tell people I am bisexual, but really I think of myself as pansexual, not limiting emotion and attraction to anything. Not gender, not age, not race, not social status.

I think that sometimes people can become lonely and will "settle", making them open their views and ideas of dating up, to allow "just anyone" to enter into their lives. My boyfriend was this way, before meeting me, dating anyone who would say yes because he had no friends, and had been hurt and heartbroken so badly he just wanted to feel loved and accepted. I also have a straight friend who dated women just so she could have someone to date, but she wasn't attracted to them, although she liked to experiment and have fun, she says she is straight, but I don't give her a label.

If you ever need a friend to talk to, I am a good listener :)
    • Excellent advice Peggi and I second that. We don't need labels...we're just people. I'm a good listener too.

  • What's up with different Butterfly Kisses?
    • When I bought my Butterfly Kiss I thought there were only 2 versions - the standard and the Platinum Edition. Since I couldn't find the PE in my country I went with the regular one. I was so bent on getting it after watching Kara Sutra's review of it. She said it was TPR. I got my Butterfly Kiss. On the packaging (plastic shell with a piece of paper) it said that it's "phthalate-free" and made of TPR. I'm inclined to believe it as it didn't smell, didn't turn ugly yellow even when I had it for more than a year, didn't sting my bits (jelly does).

Now, however I see those jelly Butterfly Kisses. What's the deal? Was my vibe mis-labeled or are there more than 2 versions? I still have the paper insert from the packaging if you'd like to see it. The vibe itself looks a bit more opaque than what I see in EF catalog - it's always looked like this.

I would also ask people from EF who deal with the Review Program. Is my Butterfly Kiss same as yours (and thus qualifies for a review) or is it a different product?
    • Hi there!! California Exotic Novelties was the 1st to come out with this fantastic design. & yes we only have 2 versions, the platinum & the original. Check it out on our website link

Many other companies have tried to duplicate our product but have had no success. We are the original creators with the best product :) Hope this helps!

It's the jelly - throw it away or always use a condom. Look for better materials like silicone or VixSkin.
    • I wouldn't even use a condom...just get rid of it and stay away from the material.

  • Jelly Deformation?
    • Well I loved this little bugger and it came at a bargain so I suppose I can't complain too much. But I whipped it out for play tonight only to find that the jelly seems to have dented and deformed itself on the lovely bulbous head. I had it in a pocket next to my turbo glider and I suspect with some heat and pressure, that's the culprit that did this. It has very odd dents/suctionish things on it now.

Is this prone to happen to jelly toys? Could it have been the California summer heat? I would like to prevent this from happening in the future.

But in case people are wondering, this a toy I would glady invest in again.
    • It is my experience that jelly toys just deteriorate really fast...the heat may have sped up this process though. I do know heat can cause more phthalates to leak out of jelly. It probably just kind of melted on you a little. I would have to say you should go ahead and get a new one or better yet, find a comparible toy in silicone! Silicone can be boiled so, heat shouldn't be an issue with it at all! It always sucks when one of your favorites melts.
    • Does your house get pretty warm? I've never had that problem and I live in AZ. Was it touching the turbo glider? Sounds like a toy material interaction to me.
