Pretty Pink Pleasure

This is a pretty pink toy with strong vibrations that aren't obnoxiously loud. The only drawbacks for me were the pointed end and the difficulty I sometimes had keeping it clean. Overall still a nice vibrator that I continue to use and enjoy.

Use

Pleasure petals was a toy that I probably never would have considered, but I got it as a free gift with purchase. Up to that point, I'd never even used a vibrator! Now I'm glad that I've been introduced to the wonderful world of vroom. This has become my go-to toy when I don't feel like putting too much effort into masturbation, but I still want to get off.

So far I have used this both internally and externally. If you're feeling lazy, you can simply slip it inside you, turn it on, and rub your clit while the vibrations do the rest of the work. I've also used it to thrust inside myself, starting at the lowest setting and working up to the highest. The buzzing feels nice on the outside as well, but on the strongest setting I found that it did more numbing than stimulating. I would not suggest using this anally if you're playing solo as it has no flared base or handle and could easily slip inside if you're not careful. I use this solo, but there's no reason why your partner couldn't use it on you if you so desired.

Material / Texture

This vibrator is made of a firm plastic. It's not bendable at all, so if you're into a flexible toy, this isn't made for you. It is non-porous and phthalate-free, which puts it at a safety level of 8 on the edenfantasys safety scale. Because it is firm, I would suggest being careful when thrusting, as it won't mold to your body and you could end up bruising yourself - the pointed end is particularly dangerous for this.

It is designed with a floral textured pattern that is quite beautiful. It's not so pronounced that it scrapes harshly against your insides, but the raised texture is noticeable when used as a thrusting tool.

Design / Shape / Size

When I received this I was a bit intimidated by the size. I happen to be fairly small, and the girth on this is quite impressive - 1 1/2. It also has about a 6.5 inch insertable length, which I find to be a nice attribute. I personally feel that it's better to have a longer length than not enough when it comes to a toy - if you have too much you can just choose not to insert it all the way.

There are two drawbacks to this design for me. It is tapered to a pointed end, which I really dislike. With a bit of lube, it's not really a huge problem, but sometimes I get really into my personal play and end up thrusting too hard and hitting my cervix with that pointed end just the wrong way. Aesthetically the pointed end isn't that great to me either - when I first started using it I felt like I was driving a stake into my vagina.

The other drawback is that the flowered design creates very slim crevices that attract and trap body fluids, making it difficult to clean. I'm pretty fanatic about keeping my toys sanitary, and this drawback is unsettling to me. When I am able to afford a nice substitute, I will likely replace this as my main vibrator simply because I don't like the possibility of bacteria. For others, this may not be the biggest concern, particularly if you're not so paranoid about invisible germs.

It is really obvious that it is a sex toy, except perhaps to a child. I would recommend keeping it in a safe place and not leaving it around. Because of it's larger size, it's not really suitable to carry around in your purse, though if you're traveling and taking a suitcase, it would certainly fit in there.

Functions / Performance / Controls

This vibrator is easily controlled at the base with a turn-style dial. It has five settings, starting with a quiet, low vibration and getting increasingly stronger and louder as you turn the dial. It is strictly a constant buzzing, no special patterns. It takes two C batteries (not included), which makes for a strong vibe, and they have lasted for months, even with moderate weekly usage. Upon opening the battery chamber, you'll find a piece of paper coiled around the inside that is meant to stay inside with the batteries in order to tone down the noise level - which is considerable, and can be heard through a door even when used under the covers.

Even at the lowest setting, I found the buzzy vibrations to be pleasing. The vibrations can be felt along the whole shaft, which is really nice. I like to start at the lowest setting and work my way up, savoring the feeling and building up to my orgasm. The highest setting is very strong, and a bit loud, which may be a drawback to some. As I already stated, the highest setting externally wasn't that great, as it mostly just numbed me completely as opposed to feeling good. Internally though, I love the highest setting, and when using your internal muscles, the sensations are amplified.

The one problem that I sometimes have with the controls is that the dial is easily moved and if you're in the middle of working yourself with some thrusting action, you can easily change the setting. Quite annoying when you're about to reach a climax and suddenly the intensity goes down. Could be a fun way to tease your partner though!

Care and Maintenance

This is easy to store because it is plastic. It doesn't attract lint or other stray materials like silicone, and it doesn't need to be kept separate from other materials. I wash mine with warm water and soap, careful not to get water too close to the base, as it is not waterproof. The one downside with cleaning it is that the textured design attracts body fluids and they can be difficult to scrub away because the lines are so thin. I've been using a small pick, but am considering getting a small brush to scrub away any left over fluids. I keep this in a plastic box with the rest of my toys, but you can easily toss it in a drawer, or use the packaging to store it if you wish.
