Pretty, pretty paint
The Shiny G is the very first g-spot vibrator that my narrow body has been able to handle and love. It's strong and cute. It's little ring really does add to play. But the paint chips off at the drop of a hat.Published: March 12, 2011
Pros:
thin, powerful
Cons:
the paint really chips badly
I seem to be accumulating more and more vibrators since I joined up here on Eden. Don't get me wrong, I do like vibrators as much as the next girl. They are great for release when my husband is at work or a lover of mine isn't around. I do prefer to be with someone than resort to a toy, but, as anyone knows, you can't control when you get horny sometimes. And sometimes having a vibrator around while playing with a lover can be a lot of fun.
I picked up the Shiny G because I have yet to find a g-spot vibrator that doesn't hurt me. With the Shiny G being much slimmer than most of the over vibes I have tried, I thought this may be the one that works the best for me. My problem with g-spot vibes is that I am very narrow and they usually really hurt when they are being inserted.
The Shiny G is 7 1/4" long and has 6 1/4" that is insertable. It had 5/8" diameter making it very thing. There is the crook at the head that is supposed to hit the g-spot. It takes two AAA batteries that you have to add yourself. The power is controlled by a little dial at the end of the vibe. It also has multiple speeds of vibrations. There is also a sillicon ring at the base of the Shiny G to add to the clitoral stimulations. There is a bit of paper in the vibe that helps keep the sound down. Leave the paper that, it really cuts down the sound. I was a ditz and took it out, but I do live with my husband so I don't have to hide with I am playing.
The Shiny G is the first g-spot vibe that I have used that didn't hurt me at all. It was thin enough and the crook wasn't that big that it actually felt good going in. The vibrations are strong enough to really make your teeth shake while playing with it. The ring didn't actually add that much to play and it collects lint like crazy.
The Shiny G and it's ring clean up with a bit of soap and water, sex wipes or toy cleaner. And remember that if you are sharing any sex toy, use a condom on it to help keep it clean and safe.
As much as I did love the Shiny G, I had to down rate it because the paint just didn't hold up on it. After the first use, I was very glad that I tried it out with a condom on it because the paint started to chip right away. Even after setting it down lightly, the paint would just come off of it.
The paint problem is a real problem and really detracts from how wonderful the Shiny G as a vibrator really is.

Follow-up commentary
1 month after original review
My Shiny G vibe found it's way to the round file very fast. I kept around the little silicone ring for a little while, but I didn't have anything that it would fit on, so it got round filed too.

This one looks cute & I can't wait to get it & try it. But, Has anyone else had one? Does it work well?I've had a few vibrators that stoped working in just a few minutes.
