Vivid's swirl marble vibrator by Doc Johnson - review by Haifisch

Believe it or not, this vibrator was how I found EF. Irrelevant, but still truth. I had searched EVERYWHERE to find this vibrator - every site was out of stock, shipping was outrageous, or it was at some really weird price. And I don't like buying internationally. Finally, I found EF! Lowest price I'd found, shipping that isn't crazy, and free stuff. Awesome. And the color I wanted was in stock!

So, I rushed to order! Along with several other things... But I digress. I was extremely excited when it came. The box it's shipped in is clear, with a light printing of a Vivid star on the front- the coral color I purchased has Briana Banks. It's held in place by a couple of plastic pieces, that make it easy to take out of the box.

When I finally opened it (which was probably dorky of me at the time, it literally took my breath away. The swirled colors are just SO beautiful! It's made of phthalate-free ABS plastic, and is very smooth to touch. This vibe only takes 1 AA battery, but don't let that fool you. It packs A VERY STRONG punch! It's also multi-speed, with a dial base at the bottom.

When I got back with the batteries for this vibe, I was excited to turn it on! It really came with no instructions as to how to insert the battery, but it wasn't that hard to figure out. So, I finally turned the dial to switch it on... And holy crap, was it loud. It may have been because it was my first toy, and because I was a little worried about being caught.

The first setting is still rather strong. As you turn the dial to increase the intensity, the vibe gets louder and louder. I couldn't use this on the highest setting with people home, I'm sure they could hear it throughout the house. Not that I'd use the highest setting often anyway, it's simply too strong. That being said, it could also be because I'm extremely sensitive, and I don't enjoy super strong vibrations.

This vibe is actually insertable, regardless of the fact that it isn't waterproof. It has 5.5" of insertable goodness, I would just keep away from the dial base. Cleaning is also a snap! Since it's plastic, you can use a toy cleaner, but be very careful to not submerge it, or take off the base when cleaning. This is one you'll want to keep around!

The biggest flaw about this vibrator is that if you were to hit the end of it on anything (like, say you thump it with your thumb or something while using it) it will turn off. I normally would have to turn it off, take off the dial base, and screw it back on. It turns back on then. I would also really have liked to see this as a waterproof toy. It's too pretty to just leave laying around!
