A genuine segue from the curious BDSM'ers to the more serious whips and chain gang, this nipple and clit clamp set will bring out your 'Oh!' face lickety-split.

It's a bit more intimidating than what I was used to as a beginner, being weighty and all mechanical looking (think 'Frankenstein' meets dominatrix), and the clamps can be very painful if not used properly.

The versatility of the Y Chain is great, as you can detach and use just the clit clamp or only the nipples, or couple them together for an all-out pain-play session.

The clit clamp intensifies any alternate stimulation applied in addition to the clamp, or just after the clamp's use. So vibrators and this Y-Chain can be great friends.


The chain's weight works against gravity and can rip right off if you stand up after attaching them in a reclined position. For this reason, I suggest lying down while using the chain unless you are able and willing to set the clamps at a rather tight setting, clamping down more skin, and/or move about very gently.


With a padded bra these would be undetectable under clothing; a surprising bonus!

This is not a cheap looking chain. The galvanized metal links glint in light as you move, and are quite heavy. The smooth black rubber clamp tips are quality, though they do tend to slide very slowly off the clamps, despite the claw at the end of the clamp that intends to hold them down. A dab of superglue will remedy that, if it bothers you.
The chain arrived in a neat little plastic package that showcased its splendor beautifully, but did not outline much about the product other than its wild ability to bring out the tiger in you.

Left in the open, the chain is likely to be mistaken as a necklace or wallet chain. If it weren't for the clamps and their adjustable thumbscrews, no one would ever guess their true purpose. I actually had mine sitting on my dash in my truck and my boyfriend's sister was like 'are these your nipple clamps?' And I said... 'ha, yep, how did you know?' And she laughed and said, 'No, but really. What is this?' And really did not believe me that they were actually nipple clamps. A lucky guess, I suppose.

The rubber tips of the clamps came out of the box with irregular white dots along the end; no doubt a result of being clamped on their tightest setting to white paper in the package that then tore off, the teeth of the underlying metal clamp poking into the rubber tip. This did bug me as I would've liked a pristine product fresh out of the package, but it did not affect performance, and can't be seen during use, anyhow.

The rubber tips have no detectable smell for my nose, and are slick and shiny. They protect your skin from the harsh hard metal underneath, and can be removed if you get into serious pain play, though I can almost certainly warn you that removing them will result in a bit of blood and bruises if the clamps are used in a tight setting.

With the nipple chain at about 16" long and the clit clamp at 18", there's plenty of play for ladies with widely-spaced breasts or wide chests, and enough for the chain to slide sexily across your body like a cool snake, teasing you. The length of the clit clamp allows taller girls, or simply those who choose, to move about in it--you won't snag in a sexy stretch due to the chain being too short.
If you’re a shorter gal, you can clip the chain to suit your needs and re-attach the clip to the severed end. This will likely require a tool along the lines of a wire-cutter and some elbow grease.

The single knob on each of the three clamps allows for a wide range of tightness. Each clamp opens to about 1/2" at its widest, and clamps all the way down to closed with the screw turned to its most outterly position. The range in tightness allows for play by users with many comfort levels and nipple and clit sizes, excluding those with clit or nipples are larger than 1/2" wide, in which case your bits may not even fit into the clamps. My nipples, at 1/2" long, were just long enough that the clamp's screw stopped them from going deeper into the clamp, therefore the clamp could not swallow more than just my nipple.

A touch of texture--ribbing, perhaps--on the rubber tips would add drag and help them not to slide off when facing gravity or a touch of natural lubrication created by excitement during use. However, as they’re quite smooth, they’re also slick, and fell immediately off of my big nips as soon as I (slowly) stood with them on.

The adjustable thumbscrews came out of the package completely unscrewed, leaving the clamps free to clamp, clamp, clamp their damndest. This resulted in a moment of intense pain followed by a ‘D’oh!’, which we’ll get to later.

The ends of the screws have a textured ¼” tip that allow for easier adjustment, though I found a drop of oil helped them move much more easily.

If you're like me, the chain will be prettier to you in person than online. The chrome metal really does shimmer and glint in the light. I considered weaving a thin, colored ribbon through the chains to make mine more feminine looking, and I may still do that if I really warm up to the toy.

If you're looking for something to bump things up a notch, these clamps will certainly do it. They have the ability to bring you from 'hmm...' to 'woah...' to 'WOW!' in a matter of seconds, simply by adjusting the tightening screws. They are easy to put on and off, once you get the hang of it. For beginners, be sure to start out with the clamps at their widest setting, slowly tightening them to your (dis)comfort level. Clamp a larger area of skin than just the nipple or just the clit, at least to start out. This will prevent any 'ow!!!' moments (which believe me, I had a few at first).
Be sure to periodically check the skin color of your bits during use, and don't leave the clamps on for over 15 minutes or so. Your nipples may turn purple or white, and in this case, it's best to remove the clamps and stimulate the skin, encouraging blood flow to return.

For extra stimulation and a little play, you or your partner can take turns lightly tugging at the clamps, dragging the chain across your skin, or placing it in the teeth to tug. A vibrator applied to the clit clamp, for me provided an intensely wild feeling, amping up the intensity of my bullet like I'd never experienced. Even after clamp removal, my clit was very sensitive.

Lube is not recommended due to the slippage factor, but if you need it for play of other sorts coupled with the chain, feel secure in using your favorite lube of any variety.

If you find these getting sticky, a wipe-down with warm water and soap (if needed) will suffice. Make sure they air dry before storing. I store mine in a small gift box, away from other toys, protected from lube and other juices. The rubber tips may be removed and boiled or washed with antibacterial soap.

Despite the small price tag, this piece appears to be well-made, and with proper care, should last you many years.

I'm interested in playing with this a bit more with my partner, solo, and maybe on another female partner. I have yet to completely warm up to this not-so-beginner piece, but I'm not ready to give up on it either!

This toy initally excited me when seen online, then scared me with my first try. I was dumb and did not adjust the clamps before using them first, not realizing they were factory set to the tightest setting. This resulted in a big angry 'ouch!' followed by some tentative moments of additional testing, before I put it away for a week. When I got it out again to play, I found it much more forgiving, though I did still have a couple more 'OW!' moments when adding the clit clip (one simply must start out at the lowest setting before cranking it up--I thought I could simply start by slowly releasing the clamp til it got tighter... big mistake! My hold slipped and I clamped down hard on my most sensitive bundle of nerves--my clitoris.
