The Advanced Clitoral Pump, by Cal Exotics, is a vibrator and clitoral pump in one. It is all designed for clitoral stimulation and is not intended for internal use. It has interchangeable heads. It can be used with a partner or alone. The vibrations leave something to be desired, and personally, I think the "Advanced" is refers to more "advanced" users...

The entire vibrator is plastic. There is some plastic tubing and a, what seems to be, silicone, hand bulb to use for pumping. The interchangeable heads are made of TPR. One head is just a cup, the other has ticklers on it. They are pretty non-threatening as far as textures and materials and would be suitable materials for either beginning or advanced users; however, I feel that the use of this product would be best for more advanced toy users. The TPR heads had no odor that I noticed, neither did the plastic vibrator part.

Despite the glitter, I really thought the design of this looked kind of sexy. It's all curvy and feminine! The top has a bendy neck that makes it easy to maneuver, and the hand-held wand area is long enough to be able to use it comfortably without having to stretch and adjust too much.

The entire wand is 7.5 inches. The tube from the bottom of the wand to the bulb is 15 inches. I have, what I think, are larger hands for a woman, and the bulb fits nicely into my palm, if not a little small for it.

With the cup, the tube, the bulb, and the push button, it's fairly obvious that this is some sort of sexual toy, so it's not terribly discreet. You wouldn't want to put this in your purse, but if you have a pouch, this would be OK for travel.

This pump's suction is pretty strong. One, maybe two pumps should be enough to bring the blood to the surface of your button. If the suction becomes too much, there is a heart-shaped button on the bulb, that when depressed, releases the suction. There is a push button control for the vibrations, which seem to rest several inches lower than the cup, but since it is plastic, it resonates well throughout the toy. However, with the TPR cover, the vibrations are a little muted. Low, Med, High are the settings, and just push the button to travel between the speeds.

It takes two AAA batteries. It is easily heard through the covers, but not through a closed door under the covers.

This toy is absolutely not waterproof. No shower/tub play for you with this one! This is also something to consider if you tend to squirt or if you are a very wet gal in general.

Since it is not waterproof, cleaning can be a little high maintenance. As I said, if you squirt or are very wet in general, you may want to find something that has easier cleaning potential. There's no good way to clean the cup out since you cannot rinse or submerge it. You can easily remove the TPR sleeves to clean them properly with soap and warm water, or a toy cleaner. The rest of the toy you will want to use a wipe or a wash cloth that is well wrung out. This cannot be sanitized. This should not be shared as using a condom will not allow the pumping mechanism to work. Perhaps in a monogamous relationship with a partner you are sure is STI-free, but otherwise, you will want to make this a personal-use-only kind of toy.

The pump came in a plastic bag inside a typical Cal Exotics box. All product information is on the outside. There is a "beautiful" model on the cover looking at you seductively and hiking up her skirt. This always baffles me because this toy is marketed for women, and while some women might find her attractive, I don't think the "porn star model" type encompasses what women like in other women. But that's just my opinion, I could be wrong there. You could easily store this in its box, inside a zip-top bag.

If you have a very sensitive clitoral area, you will want to be gentle with this toy. It has good suction and combined with the vibrations could be painful if you are not careful.

I saved for this toy. No, not points, actual money. As a formerly one-income family, buying toys is quite a luxury, really. So, while she's not expensive in the world of sex toys, she is expensive to me.
