Pure wand - sex toy by Njoy - review by Apirka

Njoy's Pure Wand is designed to intensely stimulate the G-spot or P-spot. It is safe to use anally because the bulbs on the ends can act as bases, its length, curve and weight also prevent it from getting lost. Though, because of this weight and being made of steel, care should be taken while thrusting with this toy to prevent injury.

The Pure Wand is made from stainless steel. Stainless steel is one of the safest materials available, rating a 10 on Eden's material safety scale. Steel is non-porous, latex and phthalates free. The toy has absolutely no smell or taste to it. It is very firm and inflexible with no texture other than the small imprint of the manufacturer's name in the middle of the shaft (which I can't personally feel while inserted). The Pure Wand is an ideal toy for beginners and more advanced users alike, though beginners should proceed with caution if they are unfamiliar with the firmness and weight of the toy.

To me, the Pure Wand resembles an older telephone receiver (though with one smaller end instead of two same-sized ends). It also looks like a warped barbell. Because the Pure Wand doesn't really look like a sex toy, it is rather discreet (unless one is already familiar with it). The shaft has a very nice curve to it, making sure that it comes in contact with its target. It's not any larger than any of the other G-spot toys I have, though its curve is more pronounced.

There are two different sized bulbs, one on each end. They allow the user to decide if they want a larger, broader area of pressure or a smaller, more pinpointed one. This toy is suitable for all users; male or female, novice or more advanced, though anyone unfamiliar with steel toys and their weight should be careful at first so as not to inflict injury. Also, because of its weight, it might not be the best toy to travel with.

As you can see from the above picture, while the front of the bulbs are rounded, the backs are curved with the shaft (which makes removing the toy easier -- especially around the pubic bone).

The curve of the Pure Wand is really the best part about it, and obviously what so many people rave about. It has the steepest curve out of all the toys I have, and that curve helps either bulbed end to home right in on my G-spot. It requires no batteries, makes no noise, and is entirely waterproof. It can even be used as a body massager. The only downside of the toy is its weight. That weight will aid in applying pressure to G or P-spots, but will tire out the arms of users who use the toy for thrusting.

The Pure Wand is extremely easy to care for and clean. The medical-grade stainless steel will never corrode or degrade, but refrain from using abrasive cleansers or pads to prevent damage to the toy. The Pure Wand can be cleaned with soap and water, then dried and polished with a soft cloth. You can also sterilize the toy in boiling water or with a 10% bleach solution. Any and all lubes can safely be used with the Pure Wand, though, like glass, little should be needed because of the toy's smoothness. After cleaning, the toy is easily stored in its included storage box.

The packaging for the Pure Wand is very simple and discreet. The outer white cardboard sleeve bears the manufacturer's name on top, a small sticker indicating which toy is inside, and a tiny "China" symbol on the bottom corner. The inner black storage box only has the same Njoy marking in silver on the top. Inside the box is a piece of pink fabric covered styrofoam with a cutout for the toy to sit into. Included in the box is a small pamphlet with simple care instructions for the Pure Wand and a list of other Njoy toys.

The entire package for the Pure Wand is lovely, discreet and would make a wonderful gift.

I had resisted getting the Pure Wand for some time simply because I had similarly shaped toys that were cheaper and lighter. Obviously I eventually caved and got the toy, though I was unsure if I would use it all that much. Do I think this toy is worth it for many users? Indeed! Is it all that worth it to me, personally, and my needs? Not entirely.

While it is a very well-made and gorgeous toy, its looks alone won't bring me over the top. This is the first steel toy that I've ever used, and just like my glass ones, I really like using this cold. But it is much heavier than all my other toys, and that is kind of a problem for me. While that weight might be nice for applying pressure, it doesn't help my G-spot out that much. My G-spot favors thrusting and tapping, and the Pure Wand wears my arms out before I can climax.

I really do like the curve on this, but the weight kills it for me. I knew of its weight before purchasing, but I didn't fully understand my G-spot's needs or preferences at the time. Though it is a gorgeous toy, sadly I can only rate this a three star because, for its price and weight, it doesn't do a whole lot for me. However, I would recommend this toy to others who want luxury and pressure. This isn't the best toy for me personally, though perhaps time (and a follow-up) is needed to see if I change my mind.
