The Pure Wand is commonly great for G-spot or P-spot pleasure. Having heard so many women on Eden say that it is great for their G-spots and for squirting, I had to have one for my wife. The Pure Wand is great for the G-spot due to the design of the balls on each end of the wand, one being 1 inch, the other 1 1/2 inches, along with the curve of the wand, making it easy for self satisfaction if your wrists don't wear out first from the weight of the wand, which is surprisingly heavy. It should also be great for male P-spot pleasure, but you don't read about this very often.

The Pure Wand is made out of beautiful stainless steel, which for the Pure Wand is polished to a beautiful mirror shine. The stainless steel allows it to be fully sterilizable for sharing between partners and orifices, and it retains temperature wonderfully, while also not retaining any butt smells. Stainless steel also allows you to use whatever lube you enjoy, but because the wand is so slick, not much lube will be required. There is no texture to the Pure Wand. No ridges, bumps, dots, nothing! The only thing that can catch on a body part is on the inside part of the curve by both balls, there is a small recess where the ball comes to meet the shaft. For my wife while inserting and removing the wand, this part did cause some discomfort for her.

But because of the stainless steel, it is also very heavy, tiring out weak wrists quickly, and very very hard. Because of the potential danger caused by an over-aggressive partner, care should be taken when allowing someone else to take control of your Pure Wand.

The design of the Pure Wand is a thing of beauty. Its beautiful stainless steel, which is extremely safe, allows a reflection when polished clean, but it is extremely heavy. It really even surprised me when I picked it up. It is in the shape of a C curve, which measures 7 and 3/4 from the outside of one ball to the other. From the top of the bulbs to the bottom of the handle is 3 and 1/2 inches. The small ball is a tiny 1 inch in diameter, while the large bulb is a monster at 1 1/2 inches. The only non-perfected part of the stainless steel is where "njoy" is etched on e center of the handle facing the bulbs.

A word of warning, if your partner does not like temperature play, and it is cold outside, do not try to just pull this out of its box and use it. Your partners vagina (as happened with my wife) might feel the cold of the wand, and run and hide to never come out again. And unlike a glass toy, which I can hold in my hands for a minute to warm it up, the Pure Wand does not change temperature that quickly, especially when it has been sitting next to an outdoor wall when it is 40 degrees outside.

I think the design of this toy is genius, and part of the reason why I ordered this as our first stainless steel toy, as opposed to the Fun Wand or one of their butt plugs. With the two balls, you can play with either one that is more suited to your size preference, or use the smaller end for warm-up. It is also great for sharing between the g-spot and p-spot, especially if one partner is more of a size queen than the other. Unfortunately, I cannot comment on anal play for myself, since I don't play back there that often. And for my wife, the small ball was just too small (I kinda guessed this), and the large ball was just too large and filling for her. Maybe she felt some of the right sensations for squirting with it, but she just cannot get past the mental part of thinking that she is going to pee.

Since this is made out of stainless steel, and there are no moving parts or seams, cleaning of the Pure Wand is really simple and safe. If it just comes out for some G-spot pleasure, a simple bath in warm water and anti-bacterial soap will be sufficient. But if it comes out for anal play, or you want to sterilize it for sharing between partners, you have a few more options for cleaning. Boil it for 3 minutes (but make sure you have some tongs to remove it), run it in the dishwasher, or use a 10% bleach solution. But the expert on all things steel, ToyTimeTim, recommends against using bleach on stainless steel since it can etch and ruin the perfect finish of the toy, so I would stick with his recommendation and just boil the wand.

Once you are done cleaning and have dried it sufficiently, make sure to place it back in its lovely black storage box with foam on the inside to allow the wand to rest peacefully and safely tucked away from any other toys which it could damage in a brawl.

I have read so many reviews about the Pure Wand, I knew pretty much every little detail about the toy. But when I opened up the box from Eden and saw the packaging, it still surprised me. First off, the entire thing was inside of a plastic bag. Then the first layer was a white cardboard enclosure around the black Pure Wand box. It is simple, with "pure/fun" and "njoy" on the top, a sticker for inventory purposes on the side, and a made in China logo on the back. The main feature was the black Njoy storage box, which is a lot sturdier than I had expected. In silver are the same "pure/fun" and "njoy" on the top. It is a sturdy box, and when you open it, you are blinded by the shiny toy wrapped in pink cloth to protect it. The toy rests in Styrofoam it looks like, which is covered by this pink material. In the top corner, is a small book of their other toys.

This has been in my wishlist since I came to Eden almost 2 years ago, and it was finally in stock when I wanted to purchase it. I quickly grabbed one before Black Friday, and opened it up at soon as it arrived to show my wife, and see what all the hype was about. I immediately noticed that it was really heavy, but it was very beautiful as well. I also noticed that the small bulb was REALLY small. The first time we used this, I warmed up my wife some, then put a dot of Sliquid Gel Lube on the small bulb, and inserted it. I asked my wife what felt good, and the only reaction I got out of her was that it made her feel like she wanted to pee. I said this was good, but it didn't give her any arousal. I thought ok, maybe it is too small, and we flipped it around, and I told my wife to insert the larger end, which I thought would be too large for her by reading reviews. It was slightly painful to insert because of her pubic bone, but she got it in. She didn't get any pleasure out of it from rocking it back and forth, or pressure on her g-spot. She more enjoyed the larger shaft of the 1.5 inch bulb side and it thrusting in and out of her.

After this failure and other toy disappointments, I have come to realize that my wife really doesn't like direct g-spot play. It just doesn't work for her. Not that there is something wrong with her, I just though with this fail safe toy, that it would do something for her.

We have had the Pure Wand since right before Black Friday 2011, and since then, the Pure Wand has come out......once. I thought maybe with winter, it made the wand extra cold, so I waited until April this year to try and pull it out again. And even though it was much warmer that day, she still didn't want to use it. She also complained about how heavy it is. This is a big disappointment, but not every toy works for everyone. The Hitachi was a huge failure as well. Maybe one day it will become more effective, but for her, it just doesn't work. I'll knock one star off for that, but there is really nothing wrong with the Pure Wand, and it will last a long long time for one day when maybe my wife will change her mind.
