Waterproof pixies glider - clitoral stimulator by Cal Exotics - review by One of Five

When I received the Waterproof Pixies Glider in the mail I was overly excited and wanted to try it out. So, I did that night. I'm the type of girl to wait a while before making a decision on things, so I decided to give this toy a week or so to prove itself to me before I decided to write a review on it. I'm to the point now where I think I can write a decent review of it.

The toy itself is made of hard sparkly plastic, of which the tip of it is curved and indented a little bit for clitoral stimulation. Waterproof Pixies Glider also sports an o-ring, which makes the toy completely waterproof, a pro that I found to be worth the money I spent on the toy. I've held the vibrator under water multiple times to test its waterproof ability, and it has stood up thus far. It is not a multi-speed vibrator, which to me is a downside because I like my intensity lower at first and then gradually increased.

I think, maybe, the fact that this toy has only one set intensity level might be the reason why I'm slightly disappointed with its performance. Don't get me wrong, the one setting that it has is a nice intensity, but sometimes I want more. This toy really doesn't offer more, and it kinda sucks having to reach into your drawer to pull out another toy to finish the job at times.

Let me talk a little about the packaging. The Waterproof Pixies Glider came in a plastic package, which opened and had a little cardboard sleeve in it. The sleeve itself is flimsy and has no appeal whatsoever to me, but it does advertise its waterproof design. Along with the cardboard sleeve, came a little paper on how to put batteries in different types of slots. Granted, there was no example that was correct for the toy, it was still nice to have a diagram. The plastic itself seems sturdy enough to store the toy in for a while, which is what I've been doing with it. I wouldn't say keep it in there forever, but if you're saving up your money for a toy storage container it can be stored in the package it came in.

On a last note, when I was still trying to decide on purchasing this product, I thought I had read that this toy could be used for G-Spot stimulation. This is just me, but I don't think I'd use this for that purpose, especially when Waterproof Pixies has a special toy for g-spot stimulation for around the same price.

It's a cute toy, and its one setting is nice enough, but the toy just doesn't do it for me. I don't enjoy having to reach in the toy drawer (as I named the dresser drawer where I store my toys in) halfway through my play time to find something with more oomph to finish the job. I do however, enjoy using it if all I want is a slight tease.
