Rabbit and Clit Clamp, all in one!

The Lelo Ina is a beautiful, rechargeable, body-safe and well-crafted rabbit vibe, but did not fit my body. I think it would work well for someone who enjoys a lot of clit pressure, and strong clitoral vibrations.

Pros:
Body safe, fun colors, easy to use controls.
Cons:
Too much clit pressure!

Use

Oh, Ina. I had such high hopes for you. You were my first fancy rabbit vibe, after a brief but pleasurable affair with a much less expensive, battery operated rabbit. But alas, we were not meant to be. You seem to think I secretly wanted a clit clamp, when all I wanted was a combined orgasm. We met once, and after a very frustrating first time together, I put you away for a while. Out again you came, since I was determined to make things work. You seemed to have everything I could possibly want in a rabbit. Beautiful, sleek design. Body safe silicone, with a plastic base. Completely rechargeable. A four button, light up control panel, with variable speeds and vibration patterns. A rich, vibrant orange that was even more beautiful in person. Dual motors for G-spot and clitoral stimulation. I thought you were the one.

So I was incredibly frustrated when, like someone who had just seen a clitoris for the first time, you decided to jam your clitoral arm into my pubic bone. Cute, I thought. First time jitters, you'll loosen up eventually. But sexually, you and my clit just didn't get along.

The insertable portion is still great - the vibrations feel excellent if I hold the clit portion away. I think this would probably work if you love a lot of clitoral pressure. The vibration patterns are excellent, but I just couldn't focus on enjoying them. Because honestly, the clit arm was way too overwhelming for me, and as a result, I didn't really feel anything on my G-Spot. I was too busy wondering when it would start to feel pleasurable rather than painful. However, when I remove it and hold it in my hand, I can tell the G-spot vibrations would be delicious, and the clit stimulation is OMG intense. If only there were more space between the arms, it would have been perfect.

Material / Texture

This is a beautiful toy. Even though I don't use it, I sometimes like to take it out of the box and just feel the soft, velvety silicone, and play with the light-up touch pad. Savoring the feeling of the vibration patterns in my hand, wishing I could use them to get off.

The color of the silicone is a rich, vivid orange, and is very inviting and warm in color. I can see a faint seam running vertically down the silicone, but I cannot feel it in use at all. The base is made of a shiny white plastic, with buttons that feel like soft silicone, and the bottom has a cover that plugs the charging port. It stays attached to the toy, so you will never lose it, and fits in snugly.

Design / Shape / Size

I love the shape of the insertable portion. It has a gentle curve, and is wide enough to be felt and fit snugly against my G-spot, but isn't so big that I struggle to insert it. The clitoral arm is long enough, and reaches my clit perfectly, but I think it is too close to the G-spot arm. If it were about half an inch farther, or just a little bit more flexible, it would have been perfect.

I wouldn't say that this toy is that discreet, but it is incredibly classy looking. I think it is suitable for travel because the keypad can be locked, so it wouldn't accidentally turn on in your luggage.

Functions / Performance / Controls

There are two motors in this toy, one at the tip of the clitoral arm, and one in the bulge of the G-spot portion. I felt as though the motor in the clitoral arm was significantly stronger than the G-spot arm, but I think part of that was because of the intense pressure on my clit.

There are four buttons located on the base of the toy, which are easily accessible while it is in use. The two vertical buttons are the up and down buttons, and are used to scroll through the vibration patterns. On the right and left of the handle is a minus (-) and a plus (+) button, which change the intensity of the vibration.

The controls are pretty intuitive, and easy to use. There is a steady vibration as well as many vibration patterns, some of which are really interesting! There is one in particular that feels like it is vibrating it's way from the top of your clit right up to the G-spot and back.

The Lelo Ina is a very quiet toy, and definitely could not be heard through covers, let alone behind a closed door, so I wouldn't worry about anyone suspecting you are using a vibrator. It is also rechargeable, and the charge lasted me through multiple uses.

Care and Maintenance

The insertable portion is made of 100% silicone, so it is easy to clean. I just wash it with soap and water, being careful not to touch the plastic. It is not waterproof, so don't submerge this for cleaning! Also, since it is made of silicone, I only use water-based lubricant, since silicone lubes can compromise the material. I store it in its satin bag, inside the box, which is also big enough to store lubricant, and another small toy, if you'd like.

Packaging

Lelo toys are beautifully packaged, and really give off an air of luxury. The Ina came in a shiny white & orange box, which covered a subtle black cardboard box, which I use for storage. It has the word LELO embossed on the cover, and looks sort of like a small, narrow shoebox. It definitely does not scream "I have a sex toy in here!" The package also comes with a charger, a one year warranty, a ten year quality guarantee, and a detailed user manual that describes the functions in multiple languages, including English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Chinese & Japanese. One of my favorite things is that it includes a beautiful drawstring black satin pouch with white lining for storage. So elegant!
    • Discreet looking packaging
    • Good for storage

Follow-up commentary
It's been over a year since I got Ina and, to be honest, I haven't taken her out of the box much. However, I decided time may have changed my opinion, so I tried her out again, bending back the clit arm in an attempt to loosen it up a bit for more comfortable use. Well, the clitoral motor no longer works.

Now, I struggled with how to follow up, because on one hand, part of the toy no longer functions. But on the other hand, now that the clitoral motor doesn't work it is actually more comfortable to use. Without the overwhelmingly powerful vibrations of the clitoral arm, I can actually feel the internal action! Since the pressure is still an issue, I actually angle it all the way to one side, so that the arm is nowhere near my clit. Then I can enjoy a bit of hands-free G-spot stimulation - on the highest power it feels quite nice. The patterns are fun, but it hasn't quite gotten me off. It's possible that G-spot vibrations just don't do a whole lot for me, because they feel just short of strong enough. I would love to thrust a bit, or even rock it, but then the clitoral arm shifts onto my actual clit and makes me go 'ouch'.

Overall, I'm still not a fan of the Ina. Since mine broke, and it's past the year mark, I'll probably send it back and get 50% off another item (Lelo is a fantastic company), but I won't be replacing her. She just didn't work for me.

I have been on the fence about this toy for over a year now. I love pressure on my clit. In fact, I need pressure in order to orgasm. I am just going to have to break down and get it already! I loved the pictures. Thanks for the honest and detailed review!

  • How strong is the Ina in comparison to other vibrators?
    • I'm saving up for an Ina and want to be sure that it's worth it for my partner and I. I know my way around vibes pretty well so for those who own or have used an Ina, comparisons to any other vibe could be useful.

Particularly useful would be comparisons to the wahl 5-speed massager, the hitachi, the mimi and the we-vibe salsa, though. Those are especially appreciated!! :P

      Thanks!

(Discussion of other elements of the toy is fine too, if anything stands out about it to y'all)
    • I don't personally have any of those toys you mentioned, but you're more than welcome to send messages to the people who have reviewed it to see if they have any of the others you're interested in for comparison's sake. :) That's usually easier and faster than waiting for a response on a thread since they get buried so easily.

    • The battery in mine does not hold a charge very well, does this have to do with the speed im using?

the lower the speed the longer it will last

I guess so, but I usually dont use the max speed and the charge does last long :( I've had mine for over two months already.

  • Ina Buttons
    • I notice that the buttons on my Ina don't always respond the first time I push them...It's kind of annoying. Has anyone else had this problem with theirs or heard of this happening?
    • I noticed that, too. You just need to hold them down a teeny bit longer than you think you need to.

Yes, I agree. You have to give them a purposeful push to get them to change levels. But I just figured that was because the old Lelo toys were too easy to accidentally push and cause a change.

Hi, I was wondering is this product soft or is it hard for the material that was made into this product. Some times when the product is hard it kind of hurt certain places if not used right.
    • Sometimes it's easier to go to the product page and read some of the reviews on the product to find out information about it. Since I don't personally have the product, I do not know, but you might want to try out what I said. If the reviews do not answer your questions, ask the reviewer in a comment how firm or soft it is.
    • Also, on the product page, Victoria has a really good review which would answer all your questions. There is another thread about Ina, not linked on the product page (you can search the forums with the main search bar, though): link
