Harmony radiance - g-spot vibrator by Doc Johnson - review by Lollie

I love the design of the Harmony Radiance, even if the concept escapes me slightly. Rather than being available in “black” or “white”, Doc Johnson chose to refer to their respective color options as “yin” and “yang” respectively, which might be slightly confusing to those of us who aren’t well versed in Chinese philosophy. I’m not exactly sure what is supposed to be complimentary about these two vibes other than the color… but I digress.

The Radiance is lightweight and fits nicely into the palm of my hand. The well designed and placed control pad can be easily operated with the thumb and is both made of tacky silicone and raised above the surface of the vibe so that even in the slipperiest of situations, the speed of vibration can be adjusted. Also convenient is that the pad provides traction on the otherwise slippery body of this toy, should your gripping hand be lubed at all.

The hard plastic body is slightly problematic because of how slippery it can be to hold, but also because hard nature of ABS plastic tends to reverberate sound all over rather than absorb any of it. This causes the Harmony Radiance to rival even the Ideal in volume. I was absolutely shocked by how loud this vibe is on its higher settings.

There are four speed settings to choose from, all of which are your traditional vibration ranging from very mild to what I might consider a modest medium-high setting. While this toy is no jack-hammer, it is nice for foreplay sessions and other situations which don’t necessarily require orgasm producing effects. And for those who prefer a gentler toy to something Earth shattering, the Harmony Radiance may be just what you’re looking for. My one complaint about the vibration is this: I strongly dislike toys that vibrate my hand strongly. This is one such toy that I find myself shaking my hand out after using from the slightly numbing sensation that comes from holding it. This is again, another downside to that hard plastic shell.

An upside of the hard plastic shell is that it’s easy to clean and is compatible with nearly any lube you can think of to use. To clean, you can wash in soap and water since it’s waterproof, and rub down with alcohol to sanitize.

Overall, I’m not highly impressed with the Harmony Radiance, mostly because of the noise. But in the right situation the delicious, sweeping curve it offers may be just what you need.
