Riding The Waves Of Glowy Magnetic Fun

Though the Bimini has a bit of a design flaw as far as not being able to stimulate both the clit and the G spot at once, when used in a rocking see-saw motion, it's lots of fun. I admit that you might actually have more fun with the little magnetic charger thingy but regardless, it's still a neat toy.

Use

The Bimini Ocean is not your traditional rabbit vibrator by its looks, which are quite sleek and maybe remind you of curling waves (which some might find sexier than a silly wascally wabbit,) but at the end of the day it's got the same basic concept of every "double your pleasure" style toy out there...and the same basic flaws.

The large wave is a g-spot stimulator, and the little nubbly wave is for your clit. With seven total modes (including speeds and patterns) it's got its moments--and the plus is that it's waterproof so maybe those moments might be shower or bath moments. What it lacks in overall design flaw, it makes up for in waves (of vibrational pleasure.)

Material / Texture

I'm a fan of ultra safe silicone so long as it isn't slimy or smelly. This is neither. The texture is velvety with a little bit of give and there are no offending odors to report.

Design / Shape / Size

Here's where the problem lies. The motion of the ocean with a toy like this should be that both the clit and the G are stimulated at once. With my boyfriend's eager help, he found that because the small wave for the clit was so small and so close to the toy (as in not separated) he was only able to stimulate one area at a time in sort of a see-saw motion. Which is all well and good, but I would rather have the option for All Systems Go and just have this thing take me where I need to go without a lot of effort.

Fun for him, fun for me, but together. Not alone. Which sucks because the vibrator on this thing kicks ass and I could easily see it becoming my new go-to friend if only I wasn't jaded by the fact that it doesn't do what it claims to do. But, my boyfriend likes using these kinds of things on me because it makes him feel involved in my play, so we'll keep it around.

Functions / Performance / Controls

The vibrations travel throughout the toy, which is a plus. Sadly I'm actually more geekily interested in the magnetic charging system. I couldn't figure it out at first, but once I figured out that you have to match up the word FUN on both the vibrator and the charging piece, I saw it light up and glow red!

The only trouble is if it gets knocked or anything it will stop charging. Also, be sure to HOLD DOWN the + button for a few seconds. Don't freak out if it doesn't come on right away like I did.

I also want to add that I can't believe that this toy is waterproof. The technology is amazing!

Care and Maintenance

Silicone can be boiled for three minutes to disinfect it, though I do admit to being a little frightened to do this to my own because of the fancy electromagnetic charging system in it that I am afraid to ruin. It is waterproof, but I'm afraid of what the heat might do. I have run it through the dishwasher though and everything seems to be fine. Silicone is a great non-porous material that actually repels dirt and bacteria. That's good news, friend.

I loved this toy as much as I could, but after a while I found that I really just could not orgasm with it. I did give it over to a friend though who said that it was MORE than worth every penny I did not spend on it.

I'm pretty sure I'd spend more time squeeing about the charger tech too I agree that a major downfall of most dual-stimulation toys that I have is that the clitoral stimulator is just too darn small to be really effective at the same time I'm making good use of the main shaft. Good review!

  • FunFanctory Click N Charge Technology Problems
    • I just received one of these today.

      Charging seemed easy enough to just magnet it to charge. The light was a bit finicky but I set it up so it was always on. It has been like that for a few hours and I still can't turn the toy on...anyone else have problems?
