Luna pleasure bead system - exerciser for vaginal muscles by LELO - review by Shelli

After unpacking my Luna Beads and washing them, I decided to try out the lighter beads first. After placing the pink beads back into the girdle, as very well described in the instruction booklet that the Luna Pleasure Bead System came with, and then applying a small amount of water based lube to the crown bead, I inserted the crown bead (the bead without the retraction leash) first, then pushing the crown bead in further with the second, foundation bead, leaving only the retraction leash outside of my vagina. It is important to thread the retraction leash on the foundation bead through the leash opening on the girdle and also, when pushing each bead into place, make sure that the edges of each bead firmly slot into place and trace the contours of the girdle guide imprint on each bead. Once inside, the beads could be felt, but were not uncomfortable. I found that, when retracting the beads from my vagina, that it helps to push with my vaginal muscles while pulling on the retracting leash. Once the first bead is out, the second bead is easy to remove by pulling gently on the foundation bead. Both putting them in and taking them out can be done easily while either lying on your back with your pelvis slightly raised or, my preferred method, standing with one leg raised, like when inserting a tampon.

Since I have had no problems with the beads slipping out, I wear it wherever and whenever I choose without fear of my little secret being revealed. I'd recommend the Luna Beads to anyone who wants a good workout for their kegels along with never ending moments of pleasure while they're in you AND once they're out and you finish what they started.

I would not use Luna Pleasure Beads anally seeing as how they're not flared and could therefore be a problem retracting should they go in too far.

The beads themselves are made of latex free, nonporous, firm plastic, while the girdle is silicone and I didn't detect any odor. There are grooves on along the sides of each beads; however, when the beads are fit properly into the girdle, the grooves will be covered completely by the girdle and not felt.

The Luna Pleasure Bead System comes with two sets of weighted beads and one girdle. The diameter of each of the four beads is 1 3/8" and the length of the girdle is 3 1/2". The two pink beads weigh 1 ounce each while the two blue beads weigh 1.3 ounces. Not finding them too small or too big, I found the Luna Bead System to be easy to insert and comfortable to wear without fear of them slipping out. One thing in particular that I impressed me about the Luna Bead System over the link, that I purchased at the same time as the Luna Beads, is the difference in the retraction leash. The retraction leash on the Smartballs Teneo duo is thicker and longer than the retraction leash on the Luna Beads. Although this makes retraction a bit easier, the problem with the longer, thicker leash on the Smartballs is that it seemed that no matter how I tried to position it, it always ended up laying near the area of my clitoris which was highly uncomfortable when sitting with jeans on. I'll take the thinner, shorter retraction leash of the Luna Bead System over that hands down. Not only is it not uncomfortable, I don't feel it at all. With that said, the Luna Pleasure Bead System is small, discreet and pleasing to the eye.

While I didn't get much sensation with the smaller weighted, pink beads, the larger weighted, blue beads did the trick nicely. For a bit after I first put them in, I can feel every movement of the weights inside the beads, which far from being uncomfortable, is just what the maker claims; very pleasurable. After awhile of wearing them, I don't feel every movement, but definitely enough so to put a smile on my face. I've worn them a total of 4 times for a few hours each time. As I said before, I have no fear that they'll slip out; so I've worn them everywhere; home, work, shopping, riding my motorcycle, you name it.

It's hard to say for me if they're toning my kegels or not, but I do know that they feel oh-so-good and from the amount of me that I have to clean off of them when I take them out, it's obvious that they're definitely stimulating me.

I was having some fun with them at one point, and found that if you do the "twist", you can really get them rocking and rolling. Add a little music, and you'd have a one woman party.

The entire Luna Bead Pleasure System is a cinch to clean with antibacterial soap and warm water. You'll need to take the beads out of the girdle and thoroughly wash each piece after each use, including the underside of the girdle.

Water based lubes only should be used with the Luna Bead System because of the girdle being made of silicone.

The Luna Beads come with a satin storage pouch which fits the girdle with the two of the beads fit into it. I'd like it if it came with a pouch to store the two beads not in use, but I make due by storing the other two beads along with the pouch in the black box with cover that it comes with.

The Luna Pleasure Bead System comes packaged in a neat and discreet, reusable black box, inside of a disposable white sleeve picturing two of the beads in the girdle. I would have no problem using packaging in it's entirety if giving as a gift. I use the black box with cover as a storage box for my Luna Beads and girdle.

The user's instructions are very thorough and easy to understand that also come with detailed diagrams to help with the instructions.

I should note that whereas I, so far, have chosen to use two beads each time and two beads of the same weight each time, that you can interchange them. Per instance, you can use one bead instead of two or you can use one bead of the lighter weight along with one bead of the heavier weight.

Every time that I've worn the Luna Beads, I've gotten so stimulated by them after a short time that I feel the need (and follow through with it) to get myself off.

I have tried a slim vibrator with them, but I didn't really feel any extra sensation from the beads from it. That didn't really phase me though, as I find them stimulating enough by themselves and when I add clitoral, anal and/or nipple play, things get explosive.
