The Bottle Rockets Nova is a small, plastic vibrator manufactured by Evolved for inclusion in their "Bottle Rockets" collection. Each one of the Bottle Rockets is small, very discreet, made of plastic, and has a different shaft design. This vibrator could be inserted, but due to the small length and girth, it's much more effective for clitoral use. The Nova is waterproof which gives it a bit of extra fun, and the vibrator takes one AA battery. The vibrator is four and a half inches long with a diameter of less than an inch.

The packaging for the Nova, of course, is gorgeous. Evolved always makes some pretty, quality packaging, and this vibrator is no different. The little Bottle Rocket actually comes in a little bottle. This is a plastic bottle that has a fake "bottle cap". (Seriously. It's fake. I spent likea half an hour trying to open it from the top. Not one of my brighter moments.) Instead, the bottom of the bottle actually unscrews so you can easily remove the vibrator from the bottle. This bottle is suitable for storage, and it's actually suitable for gift-giving as it's attractive and unique.

The Nova has an interesting texture on the shaft of the toy. The shaft of this toy has an interesting spiral that runs the entire length. The plastic of the toy is actually a really nice plastic. It's amazingly smooth, and it doesn't end up feeling cheap at all. Instead, it feels slightly velvety; it feels more like "rigid" silicone than any sort of cheap item. I like the quality that Evolved put into it. It's supposed to be a quality sex toy, and it definitely shows.

This vibrator takes one AA battery, and it's easily controlled by the push-button on the bottom of the vibrator. There is just the one push-bottom on this vibe. One push from the button will turn it on, another will turn it on medium, and another will turn it on high. You have to cycle through all of the vibrational patterns to turn it off. The vibrator just has the three seperate steady vibration settings. There are no vibrational patterns, and it just has the three settings.

The vibration settings are moderate. For being a small, discreet vibrator, the vibrations are pretty strong, but compared to larger toys, they are still just moderate. Along with that, the vibrations are pretty buzzy. These are definitely some of the buzzier vibrations that I've felt in a vibrator before. If you don't mind buzzier vibrations, this won't bother you. I, however, really enjoy more rumblier vibrations, so this vibrator was not one of my favorite ones. The buzzier vibrations could not get me to orgasm. However, if you like moderate vibrations or don't require stronger ones in order to get pleasure, the Nova will work for you. I just couldn't use it for orgasm.

The vibrator is not the quietest. It vibrates at a very high frequency, but you can still hear it. It's very easy to hear in the same room - even on the lowest setting. It might be able to be heard through a closed door if you aren't applying pressure, but once you apply pressure with this vibrator, it gets a lot quieter.

This is not my favorite vibrator for use. It's definitely cute, and it's definitely made with quality in mind, but at the same time, it also is extremely buzzy, and it's not something that I can regularly and reliabably use to achieve orgasm, so it rarely comes out. However, it's definitely a decent choice if you like buzzier vibrations, moderate vibrations, or just want a vibrator that's easy to use for travel purposes. It's definitely very small and discreet.

This vibrator can easily be cleaned with warm water and antibacterial soap. Since it's waterproof, it's very easy to clean. Along with that, you can use any type of lubricant on the Nova. For storage, it can be stored anywhere as it doesn't pick up anything, and it works well for storage in the original packaging.

The Nova is a decent vibrator. I was really expecting lower-frequency vibrations, and for that reason, I can't say that I was really impressed with it. However, it is still made with definite, high-quality materials that are going to make this sex toy last a very long time.
