Seducing dancer garter slip - chemise discontinued by DreamGirl - review by SassySam

Basics:
This two piece set is from DreamGirl. It includes a slip with detachable garters and a g-string thong.
The pictures on the site capture this slip very well as the design and opacity are the same.

Sizing:
I picked a L and it fits me very comfortably. I'm a size 10 and I measure 40-32-40. Dreamgirl's sizing chart seems true to size (at least for the inch measurements), so just pick your natural size. Thankfully, this set has a variety of sizes, because One-Size-Fits-All can be a gamble for me. The straps on this slip are adjustable (much like bra straps) and the back has three sets of eye hooks (also, like a bra's closure). I like the shoulder straps, but I think this piece could have done without the back closure. The material is so stretchy, that you don't really need the extra room and if your bust is that big, you would probably be more comfortable in a larger size. The hole in the back is the only unattractive feature of this piece.

I'm 5'5 and it falls to about my upper thighs or about the same length as the model's, so I was happy about that.



Material & Care:
The material of the slip is 90% polyester 10% spandex. The thong is 90% polyamide, 10% spandex, according to the clothing tags. Both should be hand washed in cold water and hung to dry. Oh, and just in case you were tempted to bleach your black lingerie, both tags clearly say 'NO BLEACH".

There were no loose threads and it wasn't itchy or irritating at all. The sticking is solid, so I can see this slip lasting a while.

The material is incredibly soft; it's hard to stop touching it. The different sensations between the silky and mesh areas are very erotic, to the point that I had to take the slip off while writing the review, because I kept distracting myself.

Design:

This slip whispers luxury and I can tell from examining it that a lot of thought went into the design, the materials, the stitching and everything else. Dream Girl has impressed me.

The cut away mesh around the sides and chest are flattering, teasing, stretchy, comfortable and incredibly sexy.

Underwear


It seems like a g-string is the the standard default for lingerie sets. I'm not a big fan of g-strings. I find them uncomfortable and unflattering, but as far as g-strings go, I can tell Dreamgirl was trying. The material is made of the same mesh as the side panels on the slip and is just as soft. There is a small reinforced liner that feel like it's made of a cotton blend, but probably isn't.



There is a huge material tag at the back, which is very solidly sewn in. Because of the mesh material, the tag is very obvious and just looks ridiculous.



All together, I do like these panties, which I was not expecting. Usually I throw out the accompanying g-string and find something from my own underwear collection that works better. The straps don't cut in and there is a lot of give in the elastic. If I manage to cut the tag out nicely, I think I will be keeping this pair for future use.

Packaging:
The packaging was pretty standard, compared to much of the other lingerie I've gotten from EF. It came in a plastic bag on a hanger with a product tag attached. The hanger is adequate for long term storage and has smaller hooks for the panties, which is good, since I'll actually be keeping these ones.

I consider myself to be a reasonably vain person, but when I looked in the mirror wearing this I felt wonderful.

I knew that sexy could be comfortable. I knew it! It took me a while to find it, but I did.

This slip set is still impressive, flattering, sexy and still one of my favourites. I would recommend this to anyone.
