Seductive Scent?

A cute, soft floral scented perfume that is easy to apply and perfect for a handbag accessory. Attracting horny males? Not entirely sold of the pheromone concept of things.

Pros:

I didn't get stampeded by a hoard of horny males. You might not either.

Use

Flirty Little Secret is an oil based perfume that contains pheromones. These are chemicals that are secreted in our sweat (and other bodily fluids) that release neurotransmitters that are believed to directly modify the behavior of the opposite sex, such as triggering sexual excitement.

Now that's out of the way ... does it work? Who will it work for?

It's designed to be used I'm assuming for a female as there is no indication on any of the packaging it is gender neutral and I am pretty sure males and females emit different pheromones. So lets just assume thats what the target market for this product is.

It can be used just like a normal perfume. Apply it to the neck area, wrists, cleavage, elbows, behind the kness, anywhere you want to apply it. It's oil based and comes in a small 10ml roll on applicator so there's no worries of accidentally spraying yourself in the eyeball or missing the target completely.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

The texture is a light oil that rolls easily onto the skins surface and can be left to absorb or can be rubbed into the skin itself. It isn't greasy and is very easy to apply. You also don't need go crazy as a short roll of the applicator leaves an ample amount on the skin.

Taste / Aroma

I did lick it ... and no it doesn't taste like anything, absolutely flavourless. The smell is very much a vanilla base with a floral hint and according to the packaging it contains Cedarwood, Jasmine, Plum and Sandalwood. As with all perfumes though eachperson will find something uniqiue about the scent that they either like or don't like. I quite enjoy vanilla scents so it's subtle and not overpowering as some fragrances can be.

Performance

Oil based perfumes tend to last longer than alcohol based perfumes and moisturizing first with a non fragrant moisturizer and then adding the perfume will help it last longer. It stays on the skin and the scent lasts for a good few hours. It absorbs really well and you can rub it into the skin after application or let it settle on it's own.

Did it attract males? I'm not quite sure on this. I wear other perfumes which male friends seem to prefer more. I wore it out and about and I can't say any attention I got was due to the perfume itself, there was no difference wearing this one v's another as far as males approaching me because of the way I smelled.

Packaging

The packaging is cute and would make an excellent wee gift. It comes in a cardboard tube which is silver with the logo and textual information of the product and the ingredients. The top of the tube simply pops off and it's small, easily held in your hand. Inside is a small, black 10ml bottle with silver text and a chrome colored screw top that is easy to remove to show a roll on applicator. It's basically an over sized bullet so it is perfect to pop into your bag and a perfect discreet travel friendly perfume.

The outside cardboard container is recyclable. It doesn't leak and extremely easy to apply.

Personal comments

The jojoba oil is the same oil base in many massage oils which is nice as it absorbs readily into the skin and is a great base for holding a scent well.

Experience

I'm not entirely sold on the effectiveness of having pheromones in a perfume and I'm not entirely sure it works in that degree but overall it's a gorgeous wee 'pocket' perfume to have handy and it's not over powering nor 'cheap' smelling either. It's a cute gift and lots of fun but I'm still hooked on my favourite perfumes and this one isn't going to replace them anytime soon.

Very nice and thorough review! Loved it. When I first saw this perfume and saw the price, I figured it would not actually contain pheremones as the perfumes with pheremones I use is MUCH higher of a price tag. I use Scent Of Eros for women only because the smell is one of the most amazing scents ever! I also have a regular old pheremone that's scentless. They're very expensive, but my partner actually does have a bit of spark when he gets a whiff! It's crazy. He doesn't get stars in his eyes and jump me, but every single time I've worn it for over a year now, he never fails to notice and seems to attract him closer some.

Playing with the pheremones can be fun, but I don't know if I'd expect much from this one. Too bad though because it sounds nice! I guess it could do as just a pretty fragrance though.

      Yes you will definitely have to reapply it but it is so small that it conveniently fits in your purse or hand bag so you can use it any time you may need to reapply it.
    • Yes, I reapplied mine a couple times throughout the day. I have both the oil and the solid perfume.. the oil has a lighter delicate smell and re-application is a couple times a day, where as the solid state is a bit stronger so re-application is cut down to maybe once a day.
