Roll On, Rinse Off

With this toy I was able to play in the shower for a prolonged period of time. It was fun and best of all it's a bargain for under $25.

extremely useful review
I was always torn over whether or not I was a fan of Sinclair Institute. They're a great company and obviously love their customers, but after viewing a few of their videos last year I just wasn't impressed. When the Self-lubricating roller tip massager|Self-lubricating roller tip massager arrived at my doorstep they immediately redeemed themselves in my eyes.

This is a small, thin, yet stunningly powerful vibrator. It is incredibly practical if you travel or prefer discretion. I'll start by saying that I use mine only for clitoral stimulation and only while in the shower. Not to say that I couldn't use this out of the bathroom but it just feels like it's made to be in the bath so that's where it stays.

The entire vibrator looks like an unassuming tube of roll-on lip gloss, the only tell-tale of it being a sex toy is the fact it vibrates. The reason why I prefer to use this toy in the shower/bath is because it self-lubricates. I have trouble keeping my natural lubrication while in the shower, it always manages to get washed away making play an impossibility, but this little vibrator is able to replenish my wetness over and over again. The tip doesn't clog either, as the vibrator heats up the lube inside will get a little runny and will continuously drip out to ensure that you stay comfortably wet. Generally, all you need to do to get more lube out is roll the tip in a circular motion but mine tends to just come out whenever it feels like it, particularly when I grind the vibrator against my clit a little too hard.

As for power, this toy manages to pack a punch. Be advised though, the four watch batteries die quickly and will soon need to be replaced after two or three uses. It has eight progressive patterns of pulsation, however, some hardly differ from others. The vibrator also comes with four batteries inside the toy and an addition four packaged with it alongside a velvet bag for storage. It also includes a sample tube of lube which I unfortunately went through after one use. However, you can easily refill the vibrator with your personal choice of either silicone, water, or oil lubricant|Sex lubricants. As far as what works best, I found water to be too runny and was washed away much too easily in the shower so I've stuck with silicone whenever the toy needs to be refilled.

Overall, if you're looking for a shower or bath toy that gets the job done without any hassles this is a great one for under $25.
Follow-up commentary
Eh, this toy has become a little "meh" for me. While at first it was great because I could take it in the shower with me and not worry about lubrication, having to replace the batteries after just about every use has really killed the fun. It's a middle of the road toy, it really charges powerfully ahead with fresh batteries but after one use they're dead. If you're a fan of "going green" this certainly isn't a toy for you.

So it actually DOES lubricate! Very interesting...

Nifty. How long does one fill-up of lube last you?
  • Contributor: Sleeping Dreamer
Cock Wrangler, my refills last one time. I don't want to leave lube sitting in it, I'm sure someone could if they wanted to, but I like to keep my toys clean and I don't want to run the risk of the lubricant coagulating inside of the toy.

Epiphora, self lubrication makes it an absolute dream. For shower play this toy is a MUST.

It's a shame it used so much battery power. So you need to take off the cap for the lubrication part and you're not meant to use the cap during play? This is a very interesting idea. What size is it?
  • Contributor: Nashville
Adriana, it's larger than a lip gloss, a size similiar to a Roll N Glue. With the cap on it still vibrate, the cap itself is very smooth. The lubrication however is the roll on under the cap, it's a screw cap so screw it on or screw it off.
